I have taken clothes to Jones Cleaners for years, and my parents before me, and their parents. But…read morethat was at their old location on 9th street. On this occasion, I took in a pair of slacks to have a taper put on them, which the seamstress knows exactly how to do. The clerk was argumentative with me as to what a taper was, even though I told her the exact diameter I wanted at them hem. When asked if I wanted them re-hemmed, I told them I would do it. I was told it would be around $10. I did not receive a call letting me know my clothes were ready to pick up but stopped by a week later. When I asked what the total was, $23.54 which is over twice what I quoted because not only did they taper them, they cleaned them, and re-hemmed them and pressed them, which I appreciate, but could have done on my own. Will NOT be going back, and hope they actually see this as they lost a 4th generation customer.

He found the leak. Yelp, under the house. Yelp in the bathroom area. It was a toilet leak that was not flushing well and back flow was coming up around the wax ring. It had wet the floor and the floor about the toilet was not supportive to a new toilet. Did not fix it. But wanted to be paid $256! No fix and the assessment (which i had already told them!) was more than a new toilet. They charged for the 15-minute trip from their location to mine, and the 15 minute trip back to the shop and more than an hour at the location to not do anything, but say yea you have a leak. I had a bad experience before many years ago with this company and thought the Christian thing to do was forgive and give them another chance. Man that was an expensive decision! Call somebody else if you want your leak fixed!

They stacked everything well in the truck (I already had everything boxed up) and secured it/strapped it down well. So I'm well pleased with the job they did and I would recommend them to others.
