She arrived late and once she got there she had absolutely no cleaning supplies. My 91 year old dad was at the house and Kami told him she would go to the Dollar store to get what she could. I called her (I live out of state) and questioned what was going on. She said without her knowing her daughter took all of her supplies out of her car but not to worry because she would ensure we would get our monies worth. Kami left again after about an hour to go get a vacuum from her grandmother who lived close by and was gone for approximately 1 1/2 hours. I had text her to please FaceTime me before she left so we could go room to room witch no responds. Once she left, my dad went into the house and called me saying it didn't look like anything was cleaned. My sister drove 1 1/2 hours a couple of days later to go look for herself and took numerous pictures of dirty refrigerator, dirty bathroom sinks, dirty bathroom toilets, dirty microwave and dirty inside of the oven. I tried to call her and she didn't answer. I sent her a text expressing my concerns. She eventually text back and said she would refund the money. Unfortunately, after 3 requests to refund the money paid her for work that she didn't do AND sending her pictures of the work not done, she declined the Venmo request to return the money. I was going to meet with her for an inspection Friday afternoon but she didn't get to the place to clean until noon-1 pm. I'm having the place cleaned for an elderly man who is re-locating to Missouri due to health issues. I too am elderly and have a couple disabilities that prevents me from doing the cleaning myself and driving after dark. Makaya didn't finish in time that I could make the hour drive in the dark. Today I went to inspect. She did a good job on the oven, refrigerator and cleaning the kitchen cabinets. The kitchen and dining room floor was not done. I get to the bathrooms, floor as not clean, I pulled out the vanity drawers, they had not been touched. I looked up the vanity and nothing under the vanity had been touched in either bathroom. Photo's below were taken day after she cleaned. This is a house that has been remodeled with fresh paint on the walls and baseboards and all new carpet. There's no construction debris. All that needed to be done in every bedroom is the window seals wiped down and the mini blinds wiped down. On the phone Makaya said no problem. I ask for the tile to be cleaned in the entry way, again she said no problem. She quoted her price and I agreed. Tile to entry way was not touched. Front door tile was not touched. When I text Makala she begin to back track on all we agreed on. I told her I expected a $50 credit back for doing her job. She insisted she could not do that. She never offered to come back and complete the job either. I'm going to file a compliant with the BBB. Caution, she talks a good plan but she will not follow thru. I'm going to try to dispute her charges and reduce her amount by $50. $50 was more than fair considering I had to finish her job. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Very shady the way she charges before she does the work or inspected. By the way, I had a witness to the nasty left in the bathrooms. Just so happen a handyman was outdoors cleaning up, I ask him to come be a witness to the lousy cleaning job.
