This is a haberdashery, not the denim and gun aisle at Walmart. Gentlemen of height greater than average will appreciate the fine tailoring done here, particularly with respect to neckties. For those 6'2" and above--not an insignificant percentage of modern American males--standard length ties will simply not do the job. Starting a unicorn ranch is easier than finding handsome, quality extra long ties. But there's hope. The Gentry Shop (although they do have a few good long ties) will expertly lengthen a regular tie and ship it to you. You may be wearing a once lilliputian cravat, but your friends and colleagues will be none the wiser, and compliments will commence. You will show up at 4:00 when they open but they will be closed (like the last 3 days you showed up at 4:00 - finding the store closed). You will text and IM, only to have someone show up at 5:15 to finally OPEN the store when they close at 6:00!!! If you enjoy extra stress on a wedding week, this is the place to go. I needed to rent a tux for my daughter's wedding, and nothing was fitting properly. One of the owners (don't remember his name) was astonishingly rude, and very aggressive and demeaning towards my wife and I. Since nothing fit at all, we decided to take our business elsewhere and requested a refund. The owner REFUSED to refund a dime of our money, even though nothing was rented, and no services were ever rendered. In the end we had to go about it the hard way by way of a chargeback dispute through my bank...Which we WON. Oh, and we took our business to Men's Warehouse, where they had me taken care of in about an hour, with a tux that fit great, along with amazing customer service.

My son's tux from a different shop was a disaster. The coat was a different color than the pants. Dianne @ Ducky's saved the day. We showed up 1 hour before the wedding. She fitted, tailored, and pressed a tux, and helped him put it on, all in about 20 minutes.
