All that being said, Tram did an amazing job putting me at ease, walking me through the process, and ensuring I was in as little pain as possible (don't be shy and ask for more numbing cream if you need it!). While the procedure itself is slightly uncomfortable (after all, you're having a little knife cut into your eyebrows over and over), Tram did a great job at making the experience relaxing over the course of ~2 hours. I've seen other lash techs prior to trying Queen Ann Brow for lash extensions, and I wish I had found this place sooner. The prices here are reasonable, and the extensions last fairly long. I usually get hybrid, cat-eye with C curl, which is what I recommend getting. Last time I came, the tape from one of my under-eyes couldn't come off easily, because I had washed my face before my appointment. She was able to remove it carefully and was patient with me. I suggest putting a very thin layer of eye cream on your under eyes to prevent this from happening to you! read more

I emailed to request an appointment for eyelash extension and an eyebrow wax since most of her website talks about eyebrows. She first told me that she didn't have any appointments and then she told me she could squeeze me in Saturday morning at 9 AM. When I got to the office it was dark and closed. I understand that people run late, however, She answered her phone at 9:15 to tell me that she was on the way but that she could not do eyebrows because she didn't have time due to the wax takes too long to warm up! Also, her reason was that she couldn't do my eyebrows because the wax takes too long to warm up. I explained to her that eyelash extensions take a long time to do that she could still plug in the wax machine and the wax would heat up in time for the eyebrows. She then told me that waxing just makes a mess and she doesn't have time today for eyebrows because she has to pick up her daughter. I would've just made an appointment at an entirely different place if she had politely told me that she couldn't do my eyebrows before I had went all the way to her office. I ended up leaving! This woman is a FLAKE!! If you want to be left standing outside an empty office in a weird building and talking to a lady on the phone who is making excuses and changing the services that you had booked for the appointment after you are already standing outside at the appointment then definitely go to this place!! read more

I wish I could give Tram 10 stars!! I have been thinking about getting microblading for my nearly-not-there-brows for a couple of years, but in the last few months I have grown obsessed about it. I've been watching videos, reading Yelp reviews, asking everybody I know to recommend someone and I was not able to connect with anybody and it was getting frustrating. Something in me said that I just had to get my brows done this weekend and so I was determined to search through Yelp for someone close to home who came well recommended and who had a lot of before and after photos posted. I found Queen Ann Brows earlier in the week and I gave Tram a call. She answered her phone (which is so rare these days) and she was immediately so nice and informative; I felt like I was talking to a friend. I booked an appointment for today, Saturday, then I texted her; could I also bring in my 83 year old mother? Tram said, "sure!" and so today, Mom and I both had our brows enhanced through microblading. Tram's tidy private office is located on the second floor of a small business center surrounded by lots of services and stores near LAX in Westchester. Everything is exactly as you want it to be; all of her licenses and training certificates are framed and on display which put me at ease. (Do NOT let anyone touch you who doesn't have their up-to-date license on display!) I didn't wear any makeup to my appointment and both Mom and I had been instructed not to have any caffeine, aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin e or anything else that could act as a blood thinner for 24 hours prior to our appointment. (I dreamed of having a 32 oz. CokeZero!) My brows were wiped clean and then numbing cream was applied and I read the book I brought along (highly recommended - also remember to charge your device fully before you come; this is a long appointment) as I waited around 25 minutes to get numb. Tram took her time to measure and make the initial markings before she started with the outline for my new, improved brows. Then she expertly started shaping and filling in my brows. She was always concerned about my comfort and made sure to add more numbing cream when needed. She checked her work several times and with my input, made several small adjustments that left me THRILLED with my results. Mom's procedure went just as well. She says that it will take some time to get used to having brows after all these years, and by the end of our evening, she was very happy. We were given little goody bags to help us with the post op care along with clearly written sheets of post op care for our best results. We will be going back in around 6 weeks for the requisite touch up appointment and we are both excited to see our eventual semi-permanent results. Tram is a total doll and on top of everything else, I think she has the lowest price in town. $300 for the first appointment for microblading (all together, Mom and I were in her office for over 4 hours of her personalized attention) with the follow up visit being $100. I just moved and had to find a new lash tech. After having cheap disastrous lashes put on me by another tech. But at Queen Ann, Tram took my old ones off and applied 170 2D lashes to each eye. It took a little time since she had to remove my old ones but it's so worth it!! They feel secure and done properly, she used a glue that isn't clumpy at all and my end result was a nice full set of natural looking lashes that I'm so happy with! So far it's been a couple days and I normally notice when a few fall out and I don't think any have yet. Super happy with her professionalism and customer service. She also has blankets and nice music in the back that made me super comfortable in her private studio. I feel relieved to have found someone who does a good job at an affordable rate in this area!
