Great Yarmouth is a horrible town and all the horrible people come out at the weekend to shout at you, drink too much and vomit everywhere. Forget trying to eat past 6pm as the place is totally rammed with locals spilling their drinks, arguing loudly and fighting. So yes, during the week it's a perfectly pleasant branch of 'Spoons with friendly bar staff, cheap food and drinks, a few regulars of the old and bearded ale-drinking variety and a good selection of corners to sit in. However, at the weekend it's too loud, the bar is way too busy, there's nowhere to sit and you may very well get stabbed.
