Where do I begin? These guys are a complete joke and will lie to your face. We were shown so many things that they would do to make our video look amazing and all the extras that make them stand out, but in the end they didn't deliver. They missed recording so many moments that were part of our contract and Mark had lots of excuses as to why things were missing and video was not shot in a certain way as we were promised and shown at our consultation. Instead they left the video on tripods at the church and the banquet hall all night. They also insisted on cash payments after the initial deposit and it was never agreed upon that payment would be this way. They even would go so far as to say their card machine wasn't working so we would bring cash. I had a gut feeling about these guys being scammers, but my husband liked that they seemed easy going. He now tells me he should have listened to me. Please .....don't book with them. Spend the money and go with real professionals. We regret not doing so, as we now have a crappy wedding video that we have never shown anyone, since we are so embarrassed of it! read more

Arrogance. Usually you can get away with that sort of attitude when you're a world class photographer, not some wedding studio stuck in the early 2000s. The owner may try to razzle and dazzle you with the 5 pics that did turn out well, but don't expect that for your own pictures, IT WILL NOT LOOK LIKE THAT. Everything is cliched, outdated, cheesy, sloppy, and tacky. This is not a photography studio that pays attention to details. They wouldn't even stop to tell you if you had a stain on your shirt, or hair sticking out. All they care about is getting the shot, and getting out of there. And at the same time, boasting about how brilliant they are. I have started reading the review, and I wish i read them first. I could not agree more: no shots of details, or guests, of the environment, of the food, perhaps there was 1 shot in there, but since they must have captured it perfectly, only 1 shot is needed, cus they are that good! A complete waste of my money, and if I didn't tell them to take pictures of my guests, it would look like nobody actually attended the wedding. What kind of photographers just stand around hanging out? Or take 1 or 2 shots, thinking that's all they need? Trust me, please let me learn my lesson, and take your business to someone who CARES to capture your day and your moments, and also someone with SKILL and modern aesthetic sensibilities. Stay far far away from them I had my wedding with them this year all was good except the photography it was the worst experience that I've ever had in my life. The wedding was a success and beautiful but anything to do with photography was horrible I paid 8000 dollars and they had the audacity to tell me that I have not purchased the negative. The negative apparently worries there intellectual property for the negative I would have to pay an extra 1500 it took them 7 months to get me my video and the quality was and is it was made in the 90's stay far away from this company read more

My review is very similar to the other review on the site in that we had a horrible experience with Mark and Nikki. More specifically, we had a horrible experience with our wedding video, which was missing footage of the guest tables and our last dance and the earlier parts of our reception. We asked several times for this footage to be put into the video and discussed that we wanted these shots taken prior to the wedding. Finally, Mark admitted that they didn't have the footage at all. He provided a list of excuses as to why they didn't have it, but in the end, we were stuck with a lack-luster video that we can't change. He never apoligized and accused us of trying to get a discount by being "difficult". The wedding photos turned out ok, not horrible, but not the high quality that a higher end studio would have produced. We discussed certain album options with Mark and Nikki and agreed on a certain price, but later when we went back to finalize the album, they quoted a totally different price. They quoted us ridiculously high framing prices, and when we mentioned that it was was more expensive than what we have paid in the past to custom frame photos, Mark accused us of being cheap and told us we could get them framed at Michael's instead, although they would look really cheap. They also demanded that our second and third deposits for the wedding be paid in cash, claiming that was what we promised them, although we never did, as we paid the first deposit by credit card. In the end, Mark was totally rude and insulting. We ended up not having our album done with them and I bought the photos from them to do them myself (as the album price they quoted was a total wrip off and I didn't want to take the chance that they would screw that up too!). Horrible experience. We had our wedding about two years ago and every time I think about the experience we had with Quarum or think about our wedding video I feel nothing but great sadness and regret. There were many issues with the video and the service we received from Quarum but the one major recurring issue was that for most of the wedding the camera was placed on a tripod with absolutely no movement in the video. The video samples we watched on the website and the video we viewed at the Quarum office during our initial consultation meeting was nothing like the product we received. Even after three cuts the video is still unacceptable as the issues were irreparable. The camera was placed on a tripod during the entire ceremony and also during most of the reception (including our first dance and father daughter dance). There was no zooming, no emotions captured, no movement, no shots of our guests, no shots of the building, no shots of dinner, no shots of flowers, and no shots of the tables. The beginning of the video was decent (getting ready shots and taking photos) but as soon as the ceremony started the filming went straight downhill. It almost seemed like as soon as the ceremony started our videographer for the day got very lazy and decided to place the camera on the tripod for the rest of the night. The ceremony was shot from way back and nothing was really captured....there was no zooming and there were no shots of our guests or parents. There were no videos of the reception, just recording of one speech after another. There were many holes in the video. NO video of dinner and other parts. The videographer didn't even take video of reactions during speeches. Again, during the party, cake cutting and first dance the camera was placed on a tripod and never moved. There was absolutely no zooming and many many aspects of our wedding night were not captured. We had specifically asked for documentary style video, which I was led to believe meant not too much editing...it certainly did not mean miss half the wedding and put the camera on a tripod! When I complained to Mark, I was given nothing but excuses. He made every excuse under the sun - from the room was too small to you didn't ask for the full package. We paid a nice sum for the video and we did not get what we asked for...in fact we were significantly misled. After several emails and phone calls of complaints, Mark edited our video three times and at the end gave us a small refund. Unfortunately, we were left with a meaningless, tacky over-edited video. The issues were with how the video was filmed and the total lack of filming...nothing editing could fix. They even asked us for our wedding photos and attempted to include our photos in the video to make up for the fact that they missed filming. Unfortunately we can't go back to our wedding day and zoom in during our ceremony or take a better shot during our first dance or cake cutting or take a shot of the head table. We relied on Quarum to capture one of the most important days of our lives and I feel that we were let down. It was not our job to tell the videographer how to shoot the video on our wedding day - for what we had paid and how Quarum represented itself on its website and our initial meeting, we assumed they had filmed a wedding video before (based on our final product this isn't apparent). This video has caused me a great deal of stress and has made me really sad as I was hoping to share the video with my family overseas. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!.... We made the terrible mistake of hiring these unprofessional arrogant jokers for our wedding. They are absolutely fool of themselves.... Nikki is the biggest B.... don't be fooled by Mark's good first impression he blindly defends all of his personnel as soon as you complain... he just puts on a good face... complimentary engagement shoot is not complimentary... they strictly told us that they rather burn our photos than giving it to us for an additional price after paying $7000 for their ridiculous service and album... There are so many hidden charges and the quality is nowhere near professional... our family pictures look like prison shots and the video is so amature. ... This has to be one of the absolute worst studios out there. Our wedding was horribly documented, our photos were just average and not worth the money spent. The studio I feel is miss represented. Our images did not look anything like the images shown in the initial consultation or on the website. I felt that my guests took better photos than the photographer. I was not confident in the photographers ability or his equipment which looked like a consumer level camera. I was not able to choose my photographer, even though I was told who it would be, it was a different person on the day of the wedding!! First, brides I'm not sure why all the good reviews are sitting at the top here, scroll to the bottom and you will see a link for to all the horrible reviews at which time I am writing this there are already 10. This is a horrible company that will leave you with a lifetime of disappointment on your wedding photos. amateur photos at best. I am so upset as I write this even though my wedding was over a year ago. They did not capture anything as the work they show you, all of our shots were horrible, no emotion , sense of the day was captured properly in either the video or photos. Eventhough we made a list of photos we wanted they still didn't capture them. Our engagement shoot was the same, nothing but a disappointment. I could go on forever, please , please DO NOT BOOK them.
