We got married two months ago! We met Kaan in the winter and he was amazing! He explained everything in the details and made sure we had everything we needed in our contract I also had later a engagement session and it was a good practice! Kaan is funny and he makes us confortable :) The video of our wedding is more exceptionnal than we expected! They had on tape every important moment! With Kaan, you Kaan-ot go wrong! Terrible attempt at a pun but absolutely amazing photographer. When my fiance and I were shopping around for photographers for our wedding, we had a few names in mind but met with Kaan and KB Productions first. Not even joking, after we met with him, we were sold. He took the time to show us some of his work and videos and talked to us about whats important to us and how our day looks and what we would value the most out of their work. There was never any sales pressure and it felt more like a meet and greet to see if we would be able to work together. We contracted his team for our wedding for 14 hours with 2 videographers and 2 photographers, over 4 different venues (hotel getting ready, hotel for tea ceremony, park for wedding party photos, church for the ceremony and restaurant for the reception). Along with this package came a free engagement session. We had already had our engagement pictures done but we figured it would be nice to just have another set as well. Due to timing though, we ended up doing the session a week before the wedding. We weren't expecting to get these photos back until after the wedding but Kaan was able to get us the pictures within 48 hours because he knew that we wanted to use one or two of the pictures blown up at the tea ceremony and reception. It was also a great opportunity to see what worked for us as a couple and Kaan's style as a photographer. The team was very organized, they had asked for a schedule of the day so that they could be properly prepared and also who were the important people so they knew where to keep most of their focus when they needed to. In true bride style, we were running behind in the morning so we weren't quite ready for the team when they got to the hotel room but they made the most of it by taking beautiful pictures of the dresses, shoes, rings, flowers and all other essentials laying about. I appreciated that they didn't just sit idly by waiting for us but were looking for things they could shoot both with stills and video. Kaan asked if there were any changes to the day or anything else that he needed to know. I asked him to let me know after the tea ceremony was over if we had time to chat with the family or if we needed to go. He let us know how much time we had afterwards and then very politely reminded us when we needed to go so we could get away from family who were more than happy to keep talking our ears off hehe. The pictures of me in my dress are breathtaking (with the editing they did of course). I also didn't even remember that they took pictures of my mom helping me with the sash on my dress or just small moments like that while getting ready which I am grateful that we have digitally forever. The pictures we took in the park, I was a little skeptical about because it was RAINING AND CLOUDY! The pictures we got back, you wouldn't even be able to tell that it was a dreary day. The video you can though, you can't really hide the wind heh. But just amazing the work we received back because the weather was really not cooperating with us. The pictures at the church were gorgeous and natural. We appreciated all the family photos we took afterwards even though I know Kaan's team was STARVING. When we got to the reception, my feet were pooped so I was hiding away until the reception fully started. I had thought that Kaan's team were snacking away due to shear hunger and exhaustion at this point but they kept going! They were taking pictures of the guests having fun and hanging out, which I really appreciate since let's face it, I really didn't have time to spend with everyone who came to the wedding unfortunately. We have gorgeous shots of the speeches and first dance, cake etc. The wedding video that they produced is amazing. The pictures overall were great and a really good mix of classic, serious, fun and of course goofy. Of course I'm biased because I'm in most of it but it really is something that I will cherish for years to come. One thing I really appreciated was the fact that the team stayed after the 14 hours were up. Like most weddings, the reception was running a bit behind so the first dance, cake cutting and bouquet toss were delayed. They still stayed after the time alloted though because they knew these were super important moments. Likely embarassing moments for my new husband and me, but hey, moments we wanted captured for life ha. Kaan and his team were very patient with all the random delays and issues that came up during the day and dealing with frazzled brides on the day of is a challenge in itself. They were respectful and creative and we will appreciate it for the rest of our lives as we look at the photos and watch the video. read more

My husband and I got married on January 14, 2017! We had a winter wedding and we were very lucky to have had KB production Canada as our photographer and videographer at our wedding! Kaan and Phil were very professional and made our day so memorable. The whole process of finding a photographer and videographer was so easy with KB productions. They met with us to discuss how they work, they made sure we knew exactly how everything worked and it was obvious that they had a lot of experience in photography and videography! On the wedding day they were very kind, funny and were very friendly the entire day. Their positive attitudes and hard work was very nice to see. We had our wedding at The Westin and we took photos at The Museum of Nature as well as The Westin. The wedding party took a limo to the museum and KB production found their own way and made it there before us and were already ready with an idea of where and what photos to take! It was very impressive. Even though it was very cold outside, they made sure we got the best photos we could get in the cold! We were also provided with a Photo Booth which was a HUGE success! Thanks to KB production, everyone was able to enjoy themselves and have printed photos the night of the wedding and were able to have a fantastic time! It has been such a nice thing to share with people who could not make it to the wedding or even the people who were there to remember again. Please be very cautious when deciding to use this vendor. Kaan seemed quite pleasant during our initial meeting to discuss how our wedding day would be filmed. We spent well over an hour discussing details, special shots, and areas to set up. It seemed great! However, just 3 days before our wedding, Kaan phoned to tell me he would not be filming our wedding, that he double booked our weekend. He said he would be providing a second videographer for the mistake. It was nice that he tried to compensate for his mistake, however totally unprofessional to let us know just 3 days prior to our wedding day. He reassured me several times that he would be having a meeting with the two videographers to discuss our details so that they knew exactly when/where to be, what shots to capture, and where to set up. On our wedding day, this did not happen. They showed up 2 hours early, and were quite confused when I told them they were too early. I asked if Kaan sent him the document containing all details and timelines, and they responded no. This was EXTREMELY concerning. I then sent them the document and they returned two hours later to begin. After the ceremony, they asked where they should meet us for the group shots of our wedding party. Again, if they took to time to read the timeline, they would know where to go. Details such as this should not be something a bride/groom should have to deal with ON their wedding day. When we arrived for our group shots, they were no where to be found. We waited 20 mins and got quite concerned. Wedding days are all based around strict time lines. We found out that the videographers went to the Reception site, instead of the picture site. We waited for them to arrive and then had to rush through our shots. Fast forward an hour, at the reception hall, they refused to set up exactly where Kaan and I had discussed, and instead set up directly in front of the groom's father, blocking his view entirely. I asked them to please move off to the designated area, and was told no. The two videographers were totally unprofessional with our guests and we ended up asking them to please leave, 2 hours earlier than our contract end time. We received our videos weeks later. The final product was no more than OK. The raw videos did not capture everything (entire ceremony was not captured, brides sister's speech was not captured) when it was clearly stated and agreed upon in our contract. When communication these concerns with Kaan, he would take over a month to respond, and blamed a 'technical malfunction' as to why those clips were missed, and did not acknowledge our difficulties of the day. He offered no compensation, and did not respond to my point that there were not one, but TWO videographers, so it was very hard to believe that they BOTH malfunctioned. He has still yet to respond, I have emailed him several times. Please, be careful if you are considering KB Production to capture your day. You can't relive those moments! read more

Quality of work 7/10 - lots of great shots, good video. - lacked attention to details. - a lot of key pictures were missed. - Not a single picture for food or treats served. - we only got 3 pictures for the hall initially, and after long conversation we were able to get 7 more. - Kb production blamed it on us for not instructing them to take pictures for the food and hall. - No pictures were taken for a lot of guests and couple of family members, according to them they weren't instructed to take pictures of said people and it is normal to miss key pictures during live event. Final delivered product 2/10 - We asked the Videographer to shot a group song, guests repeated the song 3 times and the videographer didn't get it right. Videographer said that we never repeated it to him 3 times, yet in the raw videos he delivered the end of the first attempt and the third attempt missing the first few seconds. - you don't get any say on the final product, if you want something to be edited on the videos, you have one hour for free and than $80/hr after that. - Contract stated work expected to be done within 6 weeks. however the actual time is 8-10 weeks. - Contract stated one blu ray copy and file transfer, they refused to provide BLU ray as promised. - Getting all the pictures from them is like pulling teeth, they keep assuring us that all pictures were delivered, then we discover more pictures. - Final product is not worth $4000, for this money there are many better options. Communication 8/10 - They are fast and prompt to respond to their emails. Transparency 1/10 - Responses can be inconsistent with few contradictions. - Told us that they need a USB stick to do the file transfer, assured us it is a straight buy from best buy, they claimed they don't make money on them and it will cost $95 + HST, we received an old used USB stick that was for $35 at best buy. When we called them out on it, their story changed to we buy them in the beginning of the season for $79 + HST and we are not responsible if the price drop. They promptly refunded that amount and we offered to mail them the USB back which they accepted promptly. Customer skills 3/10 - They will nickel and dime you on anything and everything. - For all the hassle they offered 50 printed pictures and leather album, we requested a 25-30% refund which they promptly refused. -A they told us " if you still think you are not satisfied about our discussion, you're more than welcome to pursue this manner to legal parties" read more

Kaan was a pleasure to deal with from the very first moment we spoke. I asked the universe to guide our wedding day and guide the right people to be a part of it and we are so glad it guided us him. Kaan is such a professional and a truly good soul. His organization of the day was more beneficial to me as a bride than the wedding coordinators because he really made the day feel smooth, flawless and fun! During and between each different part of the day (I thought there would be two parts, church and party... there were many more) he knew exactly where he wanted us to stand and what to do. It helped to alleviate my stress so I could just enjoy myself. He had great ideas and caught some moments on camera that make me cry and some that make me bust out laughing. He really captured the emotions of the day and looking through our album tells the perfect story. My parents and our guests loved him too and were coming up to us throughout the night to tell us how awesome he was.
