A visit to Quartiere Coppedè in the Trieste district (northern part of Rome) with its frog fountain on the Piazza Mincio, spider bedecked Palazzo del Ragno, and assortment of fanciful architectural styles, including ancient Greek, Roman Baroque, Mannerist, Medieval, and, Art Nouveau, each created between 1919 and 1927 by Florentine architect Gino Coppedè gave us an enchanted afternoon.
