My son saw some funny stickers and brought them to me and their dad to let us read it. When we come down the stairs he put them back where he found them. I went to the register to buy a hat my grandson wanted. I looked back at my boys and asked them if they had anything they wanted me to purchase while I was paying. They each said no and the lady behind the counter asked "what about those stickers?" Calling my kid a thief without seeing them steal? She had good enough eyes to watch him pick up two tiny stickers but didn't pay attention to see him put them back. For future reference, my suggestion as a business owner of 27 years, you might want to have someone check cameras before making an accusation like that. Needless to say we won't be back to this store or any of the others they own in Beaufort.

Considering the mobs lately at the newer stores, the shopping experience here is low key and much more relaxing. They often have some great offerings in their home section. Quality brands and great pricing. The women's clothing section is just OK. They also have a children's, men's, pet, and shoe department. I can't comment as I have not shopped those areas. I will continue to check in periodically to see new merchandise.

Don't confuse them with highly styled Italian and other European brands. JAB is mainstream conservative in its style, bearing similarity to Brooks Brothers. They run almost non-stop sales-- if what you're looking for isn't on sale this week, wait a week or two and you'll find it between 30% and 60% off. The best deals are on clearance items that have been further reduced by another 40-60%. This particular store is relatively small for the chain and yet carries plenty of inventory in its stock. In my opinion, this store's greatest asset is its Store Manager, Don. The man is as knowledgeable as any clothing salesperson I have ever met. He is truly the definition of "consultative" in his approach and is honest as the day is long.
