It was recommended to do full extractions, which were done. Post-op care visit went well. Dr. Davis is a cat whisperer. We could not have been more pleased. Eddie is doing well 3 weeks post-op and were pleased he did not require a feeding tube. Despite the three trips to have this completed, it was well worth the time and effort. As a retired physician I recognize the need for specialty care if you can find it. Even though we love our local veterinarian we felt the need to look for a specialist that does this work on a daily basis. Again we could not have been more pleased.

Definitely always has a strong smell like dog/animal but that's common for a vet. Even when they are booked for traditional appointments, they do offer drop offs meaning you drop off your pet in the morning and then the vet sees them between appointments and they give you a call when they are ready to be picked up. Very convenient if something needs to be checked out right away.

I will always, always take my pets to Veterinary Medical Center in an emergency. Whenever one of…read moreour pets has needed emergency care, the staff have been not only professional but caring and compassionate. When a pet is in extreme distress, they get them in quickly. Yes, they have to triage sometimes--just like an ER for humans--but the speed of care relates to how busy they are and how dire your pet's situation may be. That said, I have never minded the wait, which I have always felt was reasonable under the circumstances. And once my pets are being treated, they take excellent care of them and do whatever they can to make them comfortable. They also counsel pet owners with kindness regarding the options for their pets, and when we've had to make the choice to tell one of our babies goodbye, the compassion and respectfulness of the staff and doctors has brought me tears of gratitude. As far as the cost, I have always found it reasonable. After all, it costs money to run a 24 hour facility, and frankly, I am willing to pay a premium for the availability of emergency veterinary care when my regular vet is not open. We are lucky to have these folks performing an important service for us pet owners.
