Dealing with this company has been a complete and utter nightmare from beginning to end. I have never in my life worked with a more unprofessional, disorganized, and disrespectful place of business. I am honestly not the type of person that goes out of their way to leave bad reviews, but I feel it is important to share my experience with others who may be potentially considering doing business with this company. STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!! Our initial scheduled appointment for waterproofing our basement was delayed a month due to them being behind schedule (which wasn't a big deal and we were able to reschedule). During the time they were completing the job they demonstrated no regard/respect for my property evident by the broken door frame, scratched floors, and busted steps they left behind by dragging their buckets of concrete everywhere... Not to mention the mess of concrete they let dry on our driveway, running over one of our driveway lights, and the cherry on top, stealing our outdoor hose that they used to rinse their equipment on the final day. Upon realizing all the damage they had done, I mentioned it to the guys, their solution was to 'tape the door frame' and sweep the floors... Displeased with their 'solution', I contacted their office manager and she assured me that they would send someone else out to take care of it. In the weeks following they proceeded to no show 3 times and then told me that they never 'officially' scheduled those appointments so it wasn't their fault no one came. I had been very patient up to this point, but my patience was wearing thin. Then I was referred to the owner, Tony. Tony seemed so polite, apologetic, and genuinely concerned about fixing the damage the guys had done. Tony came out to our house to assess the damage and my husband and I finally felt like things were headed in the right direction. However when the once agreed upon corrections were not made, Tony proceeded to yell at my husband about how we had never mentioned certain damage to him (which we had text messages/emails to back up our side). Overall his attitude seemed to be that we were inconviencing them. The fact that he had the audacity to yell at my husband still has me beside myself because we never asked for our property to be damaged and had his employees completed the job properly in the first place, we would never have been in this situation. The ONE and ONLY nice thing I have to say is regarding Eric who was ultimately the person that came out to 'fix' our broken door. He was super polite, communicated well, and was prompt, all qualities which owner Tony seems to lack. None of the rest of the damages have been addressed as I can not get anyone to respond to my emails or phone calls. Bottom line, pay a little more money to have a more reputable company waterproof your basement. EDIT TO ADD: Since writing this review, the company reached out to me and remedy the damage for the most part. I am still disappointed and frustrated that it took going through this process and having to write a bad review for them to contact me. read more

An elderly relative in my care had work done by this company and they said the employees were unprofessional on the job. Had uneasy feelings about the experience and there was a lot of "locker room" talk going on during the process. After reading some of the responses that this company has to bad reviews, it is all starting to add up. Watch out for these guys. read more

I have been dealing with this company for what Tony Rice called a simple repair. There is a crack in the basement wall that leaks and he had a process to seal the crack and stop the leak. This simple repair has been going on for at least two years and it could be three. The leak stops for several months and starts leaking again. They have been out at least three times - still leaking. Tony Rice never did a repair himself but he did come out last month to look at the leaking wall which he promised he personally would repair the following week. He never showed up. I have called numerous times to reschedule but nothing is ever done-if someone answers the phone or calls back. At this point I would just like to have my money back so I can go elsewhere. How do we select 0 stars? 40 years in the construction business, have never seen such lousy work. Originally put the sump pump directly under the electric panel, code issue my electrician noticed, it was moved. They made the biggest mess I've ever seen outside and inside, damaged down spouts, left over 5 tons of rock and debris for us to clean up outside, refused to follow up, return calls, come back etc. Entire organization is a joke and we have not yet given up the idea of a lawsuit. A 3-4 day job turned into a month of headaches and finally we cleaned up the mess on our own. read more

The firm claims to do cement driveway work, but it turns out that they either hire another contractor to do the work or, worse, if their crew does the work, they have no idea what they are doing. They didn't use any cement form, claimed they would saw the cement to make it smooth. Then, when one of their workers stepped in the cement in two places, the crew piled mounds of cement on the two places and said they'd fix it. Four months went by and they sent crews, who never knew what to do, made a bigger mess than they already made. They finally hired some other contractor to do the work and informed us WE had to pay the guy a higher amount when the guy came to do the work. (He actually did a good job.) and then QWOD tried to charge us more for the job than originally quoted, even though they didn't actually do the work. I came in contact with this company because i needed some foundation work done on my house. After meeting with them originally it felt like a no brainer to go with Quality Waterproofing. Once the work started, it was a different feeling. After meeting with the crew leader on the first day i informed them i wouldn't be around all day because of some personal matters i needed to attend to. I left and came back in the early afternoon excited to see the progress that was made. They must not have realized i was home, or maybe they just didn't care. The things i heard coming out of these workers mouths was absolutely unacceptable. It got so bad that i had to literally go down to the basement and ask them to please be considerate while in my house. You would think that with a company like this, that you wouldn't have to be worried about being offended by what their employees are saying in your home. That was not the case. They literally looked at me like i was stupid and didn't even apologize for the terrible things they were saying. Besides that, the employees were not in uniform at all. I don't recall ever being able to wear sweatpants to a job? If it wasn't for the disregard of the employees, i would have gave a solid 3 star review. Your employees represent your company. Keep that in mind. Hopefully you all can learn from this and grow. There has only been a little bit of water in my basement since they fixed it. Its one of those things where id rather deal with a little bit of water instead of having their foul mouthed workers back in my house. read more
