After having my car towed by the rude tow truck agency, I noticed that the Traction Control and ABS lights were on. This was not an issue before the towing incident. It's certain that their rough handling during the towing process caused these warning lights to illuminate. I faced immediate repairs and expenses that weren't necessary before. I had to get my car inspected by a qualified mechanic to determine the extent of the damage caused by the towing and to address the warning lights. I'm disappointed that I have to deal with these issues because of the negligence of the tow agency. I hired Quality Towing to have a car transported. My new Mustang Mach-E had some work done at a detail shop and needed to stay off the road for a few weeks to allow the coating to cure. I needed to have the car picked up and brought back to my garage without getting it covered in salt and road grime (in the middle of winter with salt covered roads). I *definitely* got the "white glove" treatment. Mike (the driver) carefully inspected how to secure the car on the flat bed in a way that nothing could touch any of the treated surfaces that needed to cure. The tow truck driver who was black took 100.00 extra dollars from my son when he towed his vehicle home. Then when we called about the receipt the amount was altered. He charged my son 395.00 dollars for a tow when it was supposed to be 295.00. My car was crashed into by a driver who was not paying attention. Quality Towing was called to collect my car and I was taken by ambulance to a local ER. While in the ER, I discovered my wallet was left in my car causing me further distress. The towing office was closed and I had to wait until the next. I was able to be discharged, so I went the next day after I had to do several other ridiculous activities, i.e. go to the police station to get the car released for the insurance company to retrieve it. Anyway I had to get my things from the car and remove the license plate. Well, I forgot to remove the plate and did not remember until the next day. Of course I would have no way to remove it and the office closed at 11:45. I called and spoke to Linda. OMG, she was the best! She said she would actually have someone remove it for me and I could pick it up next week. I was so greatful to her and the company because not only was my wallet undisturbed, I feel like during this incredibly stressful time, she/they really lightened my load. We hear many disturbing stories about tow companies, but Quality Towing and Ms. Linda have absolutely demonstrated that their name fits their services . I guess they aren't open passed 5 so that defeats the purpose... some person keeps parking illegally in my apartment and this is supposed to be the company that handles that... Professional drivers, courteous dispatchers/call takers. I trust my customers cars to them and they have yet to let me down. This is by far the worst company ever. A bunch of crooks that the police department covered for when they impound your car and rip you off. Check for damaged and stolen items. They stole an ipad off me and damaged my car towing it. I made a complaint to Lathrup Police department and the never even followed up on... These guys were great! I had an unfortunate incident where my apartment complex had my car removed while I was out of town. I got back, talked to the apartment staff to find out where my brand new Lincoln MKZ was taken and called up Quality Towing. The office staff was very professional on the phone and when I came in to pick up my car. They took care not to scratch or dent my beauty when the loaded it, towed it and stored it for 4 weeks. after picking up my front-wheel drive car, i noticed it was not the same as it was before the tow. first thing i noticed was the speedometer not working and a clung went on when shifting from "p" to any gear, it was very heavy and noticeable shift that was harsh and jerky. only explanation is the way it was towed, dragged by the front - wheels and loaded to a flatbed, but who knows what was damaged or broken. i just now know i need to fix something that was just fine before this company towed it! my guess is tow drivers don't care or worry about how to tow the right way, maybe they don't know better...when i called few minutes after picking it up, front desk guy told me: " we didn't do anything to your car, it was like that before we towed it." what the hell of a response is that ? when i asked how it was towed, he said dolly was used to get front wheels off and flatbed... which i knew was bunch of bull because it was parked front-end in and only way it was towed was by pulling back-end and dragging the front wheels on ground and onto the flatbed. i suggest you never use this company for anything, they 're inexperienced, and bunch of losers and liars!! avoid at all cost, otherwise you're car will need work!!! read more
