From the moment you arrive at the gates of this well groomed little auto services shop, you will…read morelikely find yourself thinking you have somehow traveled back in time to an era where service, integrity and competence were required of the best small businesses. From the exceptionally well organized repair bays, to the 1950's retro interior, the facilities are only outmatched by the courteous service and hospitality to be found inside. Complimentary drinks are available as you wait and seem to be more refreshing than expected, having come from an antique cooler near the door. The prices for various auto services are very competitive and in some cases the best I could find (when comparing rates for having tires mounted for example). in the last few months, I have called to ask their advice about costs for certain repairs and they were thorough and patient with answering my questions over the phone. When an elderly friend was upset after a wreck damaged his car, I called Hwy 70. These folks even directed me to a reliable local auto body shop that would work with the old man's budget. Trusting someone with your vehicle repair can be risky in so many ways. If you decide to try them out, I feel confident the guys and gals at Highway 70 Auto Care will work hard to make you comfortable and treat you fairly.

Macon Tire save me from certain disaster! I was driving from Tennessee to California, passing…read morethrough Memphis, when the pressure in one tire plummeted! The rental car had given me a dud of a car with a bad tire valve. But at this point, I didn't know if it was a nail or otherwise. With the right rear tire nearly depleted, desperately bailing off I-40, I found Macon Discount Tire who took me in when other tire shops were too busy. With every bay full, they quickly removed the tire right there in the parking lot and found the faulty valve. They patched me up for a mere $15 and sent me on my way. It definitely would not have been a fun road trip had I been stuck on the interstate in Memphis with a flat tire. I couldn't help but notice that several other motorists stopped by while I waited, bringing their emergency tire issues to this beacon in the night happy to help drivers with minor issues without requiring an appointment. They've earned my respect and admiration. But I must give a shoutout to the employee at Firestone across the interstate, a tall and well-spoken gentleman reminiscent of a young Denzel Washington. Realizing his store was overloaded with one guy working on three cars, kindly not wanting to leave me stranded in Memphis, he started calling around and found Macon Tire for me. They told him to send me over. I'm glad there are still wonderful and kind people in this world.

When he came here, the guys had absolutely 0 issues with replacing it and did it super quickly. We managed to go on our road trip the next day without an issue. Highly recommend this place for sickness, efficiency and customer service.
