It was also a bit far from the main area. The wifi also was unprotected, which skeeved me out a bit. In addition, it would log me out so I would have to sign back in and at random hours would not work. They also do not have room service. But it's moderately priced, so if budget is your concern -- this might work out for you. Otherwise, I would recommend an Air Bnb.

The furniture seems the same, as are the amenities. There was no coffee maker or kettle. There was a mini bar cupboard which was empty! The lack of amenities notwithstanding we had a pleasant enough stay. We left our luggage in their luggage closet on the final day as our train to Paris was late in the day. It was perfectly safe. Look for their '3 nights for the price of 2' deals. To get there from the airport is easy, but be ready to lug your suitcases if you have big ones. Take the airport tram to Part-Dieu station - walk through the station and out the other side following the signs to the T1 tram (direction Debourg) and get off at Suchet. This will put you a block and a half from the hotel.

We were told we could still access the room, but this wasn't actually possible because the entrance was blocked by workers and equipment. The manager told us the work would be done in an hour and offered 50 Euro for compensation, but after returning later the room still was not accessible. The manager now tells us that we said the room would be available in an hour, not him! A request for another room was denied. The manager was now vague about when we'd actually be able to get back into our room. Our displeasure and complaint was met with a threat by him to call the police???!!! The manager then threw us out. A refund was made (he threw the cash at us), but tried to short change us. Terrible service from this hotel, don't risk having a problem handled like ours, avoid this place!

It's a family friendly hotel with many triple-rooms; our room was spacious and had a great view of the city (having windows all over was great). A lot of street parking is available so if you're in Lyon with a car, no need to worry. All these perks PLUS the fact that the room is super reasonable. In the low 100's (Euros) for a triple room is an amazing prize. Will definitely stay here again when I'm in Lyon.

With just 80 rooms, the hotel feel very intimate although it's part of the Accor chain. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, which can be hit or miss in France. I truly felt like they were happy to have me as a guest. The rooms, while on the small side, felt very luxurious and was modern and looked brand new. I loved the artsy vibe and the dark red and black color scheme felt oh so French. It quickly became my very favorite hotel room of the many I stayed in during a 3 week jaunt through the country. I especially loved the free wifi and high quality bed linens, and little touches like lighted vanity mirrors and plush robes made me feel spoiled! My room even had a mini wrought iron balcony that was the perfect setting for sipping wine in the evening. I hate to share the secret of this hotel, but it is a fantastic property!
