And it's 100% worth the drive if you want perfection. I had a hard time finding the perfect place to have my Bentley "curb rash" rims redone. Many wheel repair guys will come and "doctor" your wheels on site without even removing them from the vehicle. Then after a bit out sanding and grinding they touch up the wheel with paint. If that's what you're after ok. But that's not the best option! I found this shop and after a bit of investigation I drove from Springfield, Illinois to St. Louis. The next day they called and said your wheel is ready. I took another spare OEM rim with me to check to match. The restored wheel was an absolute match. I had gone to several other shops and was told an exact match was not really possible and I really had to redo all 4 wheels if I wanted perfection. Well these guys did the job! I will never go to anybody else!

I had a bump in with a car and someone I know suggested I get a quote from them; they were recommended highly. There is a reason for that, they are really incredible not only in their work but their work ethic. It's not a huge shop, it is locally owner owned and Sean and Paul are about the best fellows there are to work with. No pressure, didn't talk over my head, didn't promise what couldn't be done...talked 'to me' not 'at me' being a lady in upper years and didn't walk in the shop with a man; Sean took his time explaining everything. Their shop is incredibly clean and bright. I don't say that lightly; there is a place for everything and the shop is kept remarkably clean. They are friendly, so very kind. They work with you and there is no bait and switch on the quote they give you. Honest and their work is without question, remarkable. They take tremendous pride in their reputation and it shows. Not only do they accomplish their magic on repairing vehicles, they repair motorcycles and they actually build motorcycles from the ground up for customers. It is truly amazing to be in their shop. I had my car delivered to me Sunday evening so I finally had it after being without wheels for a week. No phony sincerity, kindness and friendliness. -----…read more Concise Review - AMAZING look on the brackets for a wall shelf!!! ----- Longer Review Our daughter wanted to hand a shelf on her wall, a long piece of wood to be supported by two brackets underneath and she discovered the Chesterfield Antique Mall, and we visited. There are many many people who sell antiques there, each one with a store / shop - their own space. We wandered down the ramp to the lower level and found John's shop... with amazing pieces of Walnut, Cherry, Hickory and other pieces of amazing wood. John cuts the wood from trees, and most pieces have the edge / bark on them (clean / safe for inside). John calls is "live wood," and e dries it in a kiln, making it sold and dry and unlikely to every warp. John also sells brackets for hanging the wooden shelves on the wall. We happened to meet Collin, who gave me a few tips... thankfully. Soon after we got some urethane and applied four coats over the following couple weeks. We also had the brackets powdercoated at Gateway Powdercoating. Gateway was a big help. We called first to understand what they do and how powder coating works - they charge the metal, which makes the paint, which has the opposite charge, stick to it. And they guided us to their location, which is just a bit west of the I-70 Bryan Road exit, on the north side of I-70. When we got there, the team helped our daughter pick the right color... given the many colors Gateway has that was no small feat. In the end she picked a dark shade of brown, which attaches to the metal with many dimples, which make for a wonderful effect. They can powder coat most any piece of metal, from car parts like exhausts, engine parts and wheels to patio furniture and more. We will definitely visit Gateway whenever we need any metal items painted... actually, better than painted - powder coated! Thank you, Gateway Powder Coating! ----- -----
