I have been doing business with Wallers for most of my life, as a Plant City native and I have…read morealways enjoyed their friendly service and fair prices. Recently my father-in-law just bought a new Scag mower from them due to friendly service and very competitive pricing and it was just another good interaction with them. I have bought lawn tools, engines, parts and every other kind of product they sell, and they are my first choice when I need lawn equipment!

Dishonest, Disorganized, and Overpriced - Avoid Wallers Power Equipment…read more I had a terrible experience with Wallers Power Equipment and would strongly caution anyone considering their service. After the deck fell off my Toro MX5000, I had them pick it up for inspection and repair. They claimed to fix the issue, adjusted the belt, and sharpened the blades. A week later, my first time mowing after the repair, the belt snapped as soon as I engaged the blades. They sent a tech with a new belt--but he said he "didn't have the right tools" to replace it. They took the mower back to the shop, then called to say the blades (which they had just sharpened and charged me for) were actually too damaged and needed replacement. Worse, I got different stories about why the belt failed: first a stick, then a nick, then back to the stick again. None of it added up--especially since the belt broke on a clean concrete slab and there was no stick around. I'm convinced the belt was overtightened during the first repair, and instead of admitting fault, they deflected and passed on the cost. In total, I paid over $500 for two rounds of service. I requested a refund for the second repair (excluding the new blades), and they completely ignored my written request. Wallers showed zero accountability and poor communication throughout. I will not be using their services again, and I'll make sure others are warned. Their prices are high, their service is sloppy, and their integrity is seriously lacking. UPDATE: The GM of Wallers Power Equipment personally reached out and called me. He apologized for the experience, took time to hear my concerns, and offered a full refund for the second repair--including the new blades. I received the refund check as promised. While the original service issues were frustrating, I genuinely appreciated the follow-up and accountability. It made a difference.

I highly recommend Everglades Equipment for their lawnmower repair staff and services. The business…read moreis an authorized Honda lawnmower service shop, so when I had a carburetor problem with my mower, and being a relatively new southwest Florida resident, Everglades was where I went. Repairing the problem wasn't easy. Apparently, Honda had a problem with their replacement carburetors and I kept having the same problem - a gasoline leak coming from the carb, which leaked through the air filter, each time, contaminating the filter. Four times I had to return my mower to Everglades, but every time, they were great about checking it back in, making repairs and getting it back running again. Their culture of wanting to do the work right and standing behind their work is becoming more rare in my experience, and I appreciate it. Yes, it would have been best and more convenient to have the work done right the first time. But stuff happens, and Everglades made it right. My mower now is running great again. When my mower needs service again, Everglades Equipment will be my choice. I'll also look to them when I'm in the market for a new mower.

As a result I decided to try Everglades again, and I'm glad I did I needed a part for my X300 I walked in and by chance I met Travis. Any way my 1.16 part turned into 178.00 I think Travis at one point in his life was a use car salesman. Just kidding Travis I got the part I needed and because Travis took care of me I brought a set of blades for my Honda push mower, the X300 and a cordless handheld trimmer, she gave me hell when I got home, but I told her Travis gave me a deal . I'll be back!

The carburetor is fine before bringing the salt to them. The saw I had amazing compression when I got the saw back it had a little to no compression we talked three times on the phone and all they mentioned was a bad carburetor and a bad fuel tank Gromit and nothing about the compression. They wanted 400+ to fix the leak and put an OEM carburetor in it. His place is just robbing people because they can't do the work themselves. I had zero time that week to work on it so I brought it to them now I have to rebuild the whole saw.

I Lost everything my home and all of my belongings. I was unexpectedly let go solely for contacting FEMA to find a hotel for my family. The owner Lesa McMullen harassed me while on the phone with FEMA. Even after I informed her respectfully that I was speaking to a FEMA agent she told me " I really don't care who you're on the phone with, now hangup and get back to work." Roy Olivares the GM is completely out of touch and hides behind his 'mother's' Skirt. The guy fired me over the phone and showed himself a coward. Roy is also very disingenuous and will claim that i got fired due to my attitude ask yourself if you just lost everything you owned and the company you worked for showed zero compassion how would you feel? I was shocked and disappointed by the lack of empathy and support from the company. Don't let 'family owed' or 'small business' titles fool you. Obviously Royal only concern is about profits. While I understand businesses face challenges, I believe compassion and understanding are essential during times of crisis. Unfortunately, Royal Edger and Mower fell short in this.
