Recently had our 2021 Silverado serviced by the folks at Quality Paint and Body in Visalia. Had our vehicle hit by a shuttle bus at the worksite. Initially was a little hesitant about contacting this shop for repairs due to the past bad reviews. I'm not sure what happened to those individuals but with us the repair was done exactly as specified during the initial inspection and the vehicle was delivered faster than originally promised! Awhile back had my hood replace then the next year I had to have a smog. Well they did not put an emission label on hood. Then about 4 or 5 months ago someone rear ended me. So they replaced the bumper and taillight. I had the car at a mechanic last week to look it over before I sell they found this. Not sure how someone professional messed this up. Referred by the responsible parties insurance company, we got an estimate from Quality. They wouldn't schedule the work until State Farm chimed in re used or aftermarket parts. I replied that I would only accept OEM parts. This is the response from Quality: IF YOU WANT OEM PARTS THAT IS SOMETHING YOU WOULD HAVE TO DISCUSS WITH STATE FARM , THEY WOULD BE THE ONES THAT MAKE THOSE TYPE OF CHANGES Caps from the business, not me. Look at the photos of my truck after they painted the whole truck and charged the insurance as much as they can and gave me a $1000 paint job, the truck looks like it was painted at someone's garage or back yard, the blue tape in the photos is on the truck because those are all the spots they missed up on,, I mean how do you mess up so bad I don't get it,,,Bad place to take your car for paint or repairs, got my Cadillac Escalade painted from them and they did a bad job on the paint, had to take my truck back 4 times to fix the paint, they charged the insurance full price for the paint job but never did the paint job right, when I got my Cadillac back it didn't even look like they painted the truck, it seemed like they just fixed the paint where it had damaged but they never did a full paint job on the truck, I know that they are ripping People off and charging the insurance in full but not doing the job that they charge a arm and a leg to the insurance company,, I have taken my truck to them over 4 times with different paint issues and rear bumper not installed the correct way they had to paint the bumper 2 times to matchand paint doesn't look like a brand new Paint job at all, I will post the photos of my truck from the first day I got it back from them and I had put blue tape on the car at all the spots that they didn't paint, this place is a rip off STAY AWAy,,,,I give this shop a 0 rating and 0 starts,,PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES BELOW,, the pictures speak for them selfs,, it will explain what type of paint job they did,, they charged $6000 for this bad paint job,, i Am not happy at all with this but I am tired of going back over and over and they also left the windows open when they painted my truck and the paint got all over my dash and interior they had to replace the front screen on my Cadillac because it had paint on it and I couldn't use my A/C or other functions,, and the staff is rude specially the adjuster that I had to deal with,, So stay away read more

The paint shop did a good job fixing my rear panel on my truck but cracked my tail light in the process. I received my truck back on a Friday evening and over the weekend noticed my tail light was not working. When I went to the mechanic he pointed out to me that it was cracked and that it was connected but that someone took the bulbs out from the housing. He placed them back into the housing light and it worked fine. I called the shop on Monday and they told me that they were aware of it and had already ordered the part and would call me when it arrived. After a month I called back because I never received a call from them. Honey told me that my estimator would all me. He never did so I called again and they told me the same thing after that they told me that they are trying to get a hold of my insurance adjuster. It seems that they kept prolonging the issue and now expect my insurance to pay for it when the crack on the tail light came from the shop when they took it off to work on the rear panel. It seems that they don't want to take responsibility for it. My brother in law also recently had some work done there as well and they also broke a piece on his door panel fixing it. Seems like the shop is getting a clumsy in their work. I wished I would have noticed the problem when I first got the truck but it was right before closing and before the weekend. Should have taken it back that Monday instead of calling and had everything documented as they are now changing their story and responsibility. read more

Terrible customer service! After they placed my parts on order in June I never received an update from Scott unless I took the time to reach out. 3 months later I asked for an update and boom, the front desk calls me to schedule an appointment since they now magically have all the parts. It took another month for the appointment and I picked up my car on Sep 22nd. When I went back inside to ask why the fog lamp wasn't replaced, Scott said Geico denied it. Called geico and they told me that was false and that it wasn't on the original estimate but they would replace it so Scott put it on "order." Fast forward 7 weeks and I call geico to see if I can go somewhere else and they called Scott who told them that the fog lamp had shown up but it got sent back on accident and he would re order it. Opted to just not do business here anymore and will get my vehicle repaired somewhere else. I will say, that once the front bumper was changed (minus the fog lamp) the quality of the work was good and my complaint is more based on the terrible customer service provided. read more

I called on the morning of May 16 and asked if I could bring my car in for a quote. i was told they would have to call me back there was five people ahead of me. I never received a call back. The next day I was in the area so I stopped in. I was told by the person at the desk I needed an appointment to get a quote. Her eyes never left the computer screen as she was telling me I needed an appointment. She never offered to make appointment for me. I guess she had not been through her customer training class. read more

My car had to be in the shop due to exterior damage on both passenger side doors. They finished my car's repairs before the estimated date.I was extremely pleased with how fast Quality Paint & Body finished my repairs. When I picked up my vehicle, I noticed white and black stains all over the interior of my car. I'm so sure that working on cars gets messy, but i would've appreciated them protecting my seats especially due to them being fabric. I posted pictures of just a few of the many stains they put on my seats. When i left, I noticed my knob to the vent had been broken on the passenger side. I know it hadn't been broken before giving the shop my car because I'm the only person who sits in passenger seat. I called the shop on Thursday and just let them know about the stains and the little knob. The lady who answered the phone was extremely sweet and told me to bring my car in. I brought my car to them the very next day (Friday), and I met with a man who inspected my car (unfortunately, I don't remember his name.) Instead of being sympathetic, this man insinuated I was a liar and said " How do I know this hasn't been broken for a long time?" He then rolled his eyes. I explained to him that it was fine before my vehicle was in their hands and he responded that he was confused as to how they could've broken it since it wasn't a part of the car that they repaired. He then proceeded to tell me "I'll have to see if the owner would like to participate in this. I'll call you Monday." It is Saturday, the following week and he still hasn't called. He never acknowledge all the stains that were left in my car either. I ended up calling the insurance company which handled the claim to fix my car. They can't fix it since it had nothing to do with the previous damage. I would highly NOT recommend this car shop to anyone. Although the damage was minimal, I'm disappointed with the service i received. If you value your car, I would not bring it here because it is very clear that they do not care about your car or you as a customer. Save yourself the hassle, and go to another shop! read more

I called last week after receiving approval from Triple A to have my car brought in for an estimate, I spoke to a girl on the phone and told her I needed an apt , I told her the day she gave me Sept 8 my son had an appt for surgery in Fresno , I asked if I could leave it while they did the est and she said yes but it would need to be picked up when the est was done , I showed up at 10am today 9/8 Francine (front desk ) was chatting with a customer , not about her car but about her house , I stood there waiting , after 15 min of watching her talk to this woman about nothing I approached her to ask what was the time frame that we had to leave for a surgery , she said who are you ? what is going on ? she was so very rude , i told her my son had surgery and I had spoken to someone and we could leave the car , next thing a young girl popped her head out and said I can't leave it due to liability!!! I didn't imagine my conversation, I know what I was told , I left extremely upset , I will not go back ! Francine needs some training !!! read more

This is one of the two body shops recommended by my insurance company. When I was involved in a minor accident, I called Quality to handle the repairs. They obviously did not want my business! After leaving two messages during business hours (never managed to get a real person on the phone) and waiting a few days for a return call, I finally gave up. I called the other recommended shop, Tom's, and was pleased with Tom's service. Hopefully my insurance company will stop recommending Quality after I share my experience with them. Had some work done on my Honda. They "lost" my spare key, and lost my mom's. Less than 2 weeks later, my Honda got stolen, by someone using a key. No break in. Idk if their thieving employee still works there, but don't take your car here and leave any keys behind unless you want to risk losing them. read more

do yourself a favor and do not send your car here. I took my car after I had hit a deer, which damaged the front right part of the vehicle. the fender was in good condition. they "fixed" the car and one of my family members noticed that the paint job was very different from the regular color. different enough to were it was extremely noticeable. I went back to the shop after finding that out, and all they said was that they needed too check with insurance to see if they could "fix their paint job!" they never got back too me. all this happened back in 2018. I recently had another issue with the vehicle, and had to take it to a different shop, where I realized that Quality Paint and Body shop had taken advantage of me. The new shop recommended me to go back and request warranty work on paint job and poorly reassembled parts like the bumper. I decided to go back and do just that, yes, after 5 years. As they say, "Quality Paint & Body offers a Lifetime Warranty on all repairs. With every repair job, you get a printed warranty certificate promising that you'll get the workmanship and quality we promise, or we'll re-do the repairs for free until your vehicle is right!" well it is not right, it was never right, and it seems like it will never be right. all they said was, I can see what we can do about the paint job, because it is clear that the paint job was extremely poor, but they simply refused to take care of the bumper, which is now breaking due to improper installation. overall extremely dissatisfied! they didn't even want to give me a quote on the new issue with the car. they simply said, "I wouldn't want you to have the same experience." I guess they realize that they do EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY PAINT & BODY WORK. we will see what they are willing to do to fixed this problem. read more

My Toyota Tacoma was T-boned on drivers side passenger behind driver. I brought my vehicle to Quality Paint & Body and was greeted with a smile by one of their receptionist. She assured me that my vehicle would be taken care of . I left it there and was kept informed of my vehicles progress on a daily basis. After a short time in the shop I was called and informed that my vehicle was ready. I went to get my vehicle and was very happy with the professional work that Quality Paint & Body did. Not only is their front staff professional but so is their repair technicians that work on your vehicle. my truck was better off scratched up and the door dented. didn't ask for the my inside mats to be painted, also didn't ask for my emblems to be covered in over spray. not to mention the bed covered in overspray. or how about the pure globs of paint in between the letters of my emblems that had no need for the tailgate to be painted. read more

I was in a serious accident. Quality paint and body is the shop I had my car taken to. My car was in such bad condition, it was not drivable. I had to have it towed to the shop. when I got my Durango back it looked brand new, just like the day I bought it. The process was quick and flawless and the customer service was on point. Took 2 weeks to repair a door that had been backed into, got it back paint didn't match, door wouldn't shut right, trash in clear coat, had to wait for pin stripes to come in, never called when stripes came in. Took back to have paint redone, door shutting properly, and pin stripes installed. Took another 2 weeks, paint matched good this time, pin stripes were wrong, door still wouldn't shut right. My insurance company sent me to another shop to get the repairs finished. read more

This shop is horrible! They had my car sitting for 2 weeks before any work was done on it and they rushed the job and finished it in 3 days. We found tools left in the hood. They gave me the car back with my radio and locks not working and they're saying they didn't do it but when I took it in both worked and they're saying if my insurance won't pay for it I have to which I'm not because they broke it. I should've known I was going to have problems once I was in there and heard another customer complaining about how they left her car interior with stains and didn't even bother to clean it. I'll never go here again and won't recommend it to anyone. Also they said they want to see the tool that was left in my hood to make sure it's theirs. Folks were generally courteous, but I was disappointed in the quality of the work. My father's truck was stolen/recovered. Due to some issues outside Quality's control, it took 2 1/2 weeks to fix it. When we picked up the truck, the power windows did not work correctly, which I immediately brought to their attention. Since my father was moving, we decided to take the truck to another shop near his new home. Yesterday, I took the truck in for some regular maintenance. I asked the mechanic to check things over. He found a number of issues: 1) suspension parts were dented because it had sat on the ground (no wheels) - these might not be an issue, but should have brought to my attention. 2) my mechanic removed rocks stuck in various places (backing plate). 3) an underside cover was not re-attached. I think they could have done a better job. read more

This is by far the worst auto body repair place I have ever been to. I've been to the one in Porterville and they were great. For some reason my new insurance sent me to the one in Visalia to get a dent on my car fixed. When I went to pick my car up my car looked great the dent was gone but when I opened the door my leather interior on my driver seat was ruined. It looks like the burnt the leather with something and they refused to fix it. NO NO NO!!!! read more

Well not sure where to start about this place. at first it seemed ok got my rent a car for 4 days after I was told my car would be done. But it took 1 1/2 weeks more. nobody ever called me to tell me what was happening or returned my phone calls. I was always told I'll call you right back and that never happened. I had to check in with them all the time. the only time I knew what actually was done with my car was when I picked it up then it was explained to me. but now the Window has scratches in it because something on the inside of the door isn't fitting right so my Window is on back order. but at least I have my car back . I only used this place because I thought it was convenient since I was already there. my experience at this place was not good and I would never go back to have service done on my car read more

Despite all the other comments, I would disagree. I took my car here, and they got everything done right and my Allstate rep was really really nice and kept me updated throughout the whole thing process! I would say my experience was excellent here. The staff up front was very friendly as well when me and my mom went to pick up the girl that helped us was really awesome. She made my mom feel comfortable since it was our first time with all of this and she was nervous. My mom thought she was white but when she spoke Spanish my mom was very pleased lol. Explaining everything down to the very detail was great from her! They did a really good job on my car and we're very happy!! read more

I have never in my life been treated with such a hubristic attitude at a service business establishment. The Estimator refused to provide details as to the process to repair my fender and suggest the insurance company might consider my vehicle a total loss. I think the blood from his brain was shifting to his arm to hold up a watch that was bigger then he was. So unprofessional and disgraceful to the entire industry.
