After they surveyed my property and decided what size truck to bring I sold a lot of my things…read moreincluding my living room furniture. So I had less than what they had anticipated. Yet they ended up having to get a second truck for a few leftover items and charged me $1500 to drive two trucks out of state. This was their fault for the miscalculation not mine but I paid for it. They did a good job packing me out in the beginning, but upon arrival at my new house, they literally just started putting things wherever they wanted and argued with me if I wanted them in a different place. Fragile this side up boxes were on the bottom of piles of heavy boxes and upside down. Nearly a month into the move I have yet to find my dishes and winter clothes. While I was in the house trying to direct traffic they took a bunch of things and just threw them into my shed. I have a pile as high as the windows and cannot even get two things or see what's in there. It's going to mean completely emptying out the 10 x 16 shed and re-organizing. They broke one stained glass window before they even got out of my house when I moved and claimed they did not do it. Upon arrival, they tried to install my dresser mirror upside down and argued with me when I told him it was upside down. One of the guys kept complaining about the number of boxes I had. And when they were finished their walk they and were waiting to pull out of the driveway their boss called me to see how they had done as I was talking to him the argumentative one came walking back in my house and started hanging out to listen to the conversation. I told him multiple times to please wait outside and he ignored me. Finally, I told his boss that I was not going to say another thing until his worker left my house. At that point, the man walked outside. After our conversation, I was getting ready to close up the house to run an errand after they pulled out and suddenly the front door opens, and the argumentative employee came marching back in the house and told me he had to use the bathroom. He brushed past me and went upstairs. A couple of minutes later when I glanced up the stairs to see if he was headed back down he was walking around with his camera on his Phone from room to room. I asked him what he was doing. He said he was doing the walk-through. I told him we had already done that and he said that just in case he lost the film, he wanted another one. Then he came walking back downstairs and walked through the rest of the house filming. This all made me very uncomfortable. He used an excuse to use the bathroom without even asking, didn't knock at the door just walked right in and then wasn't in the bathroom, but was actually walking through the house filming it. When they showed up at my house to pack me up, they were in U-Haul trailers, not professional trailers belonging to the company. When I questioned it, they said that they did have their own truck, but the one worker said that it had been broken down for as long as he had worked there. Due to no fault of my own, I had to pay for a second truck since they had miscalculated what size truck to bring. And then the mess I have on the receiving end is just unbelievable. I would not recommend this company.

They are organized, thoughtful, careful, and very efficient in moving all types and sizes of objects, even in cramped and challenging circumstances. They are also pleasant, cordial, and very pleasant to be around. The truck was delivered to our home in Avon. We spent 3 days or so packing the truck and locking his belongings behind a barrier. It was picked up for delivery to Lander, WY on schedule. In approximately one week, my son had a rendezvous with the truck in Lander. After unpacking for 2 or 3 days, the empty truck was picked up. I can't say enough good things about Mike and his crew. We moved 2 households into a new home in a…read morenew state. Mike confirmed our date and time and even called to make sure we were on schedule. They arrived as scheduled ready to work and unload our precious cargo . We had a total of 3 large rental trucks that needed to be unloaded at our new house. They worked efficiently and unloaded both "box" trucks in the planned time. Since we ended up moving more things than we expected, we had another truck that needed to be unloaded. That was the truck with most of our furniture! Mike and company agreed to come back the next day when we were all rested and fresh to finish the job. I cannot recommend Mike enough. You certainly get your money's worth with these guys. He sent a contract for $11,200 which I thought was fair. I asked several times if there were any "hidden fees" and if that price included the entire move. The answer each time by Anthony was YES. The moving team got to our old home and packed (the actual movers were great). However, they left many items unloaded in the truck when they left for our destination (a 10 hr. drive). After they unloaded, I called Anthony to find out when they would load the rest of our items and deliver them. He wanted a seperate contract signed charging us an additional $6,000 for the items (so roughly an additional 1/3 for a few items!!!) I told hime NO! The price of the original contract was for the move of the entire home! Now we are in a time constraints to get the rest prior to selling our home. My husband has no choice but to drive 10 hrs. and figure out a way to get the rest. Total SCAM!

I contacted Abates and they agreed to help me. I gave them a window of 1 -3 pm as my estimated time of arrival in Morgantown. The owner contacted me at 1 pm and asked where I was. I reiterated that I would be there between 1 - 3 pm and the traffic was heavy due to it being a holiday weekend. I stated again that I would call when I was one hour away. At this time, I asked him again if I could count on him to assist me. He said yes, he would be available. I called him at 3 pm and said I was an hour away. I arrived at 4:30 pm. I went to the customer's house to let them know I was there. When I arrived, the customer stated that someone from Abates had already been there. The owner also told me he had been by. I did not authorize him to go to the customer house before my arrival. He had stated that it was a full 1 bd apartment and that when I finish packing and loading my truck and get to the piano, I can call him. I reiterated to him, that it was just the piano that I needed help with. After I spoke with the customer, I went back out to my truck and attempted to reach him without any luck. After my calling him 5 times, he finally responded via text saying he was on the other line and said it was too late - he would not be able to make it. This resulted in me not being able to pick up the piano, I had to return my advance for this job and lost the deposit for the piano crate. I drove 5 hours to pick it up, I had to get a hotel, I drove 5 hours back. This was not professional at all - all he had to do was tell me at any point that he was not available and I would have looked for other help. It is very hard to find help at 5 pm on the day before a holiday.

After receiving a cryptic message from the driver's Daniel finance named Wendy the day before the…read moremove stating that someone was posing to be Daniel and beware and check id if anyone shows uo that seems to be shady to check his ID is they seem suspicious. I got a call later from "Daniel" and set up a time for the move to be the next day at noon. At 1 p.m. the day of the move he never showed up. at 1 p.m I sent him a text and then later left him a voicemail and did not receive a response to neither. I am a single mom and had rented a truck from Uhaul and was sitting there waiting all afternoon. I later texted his fiancé Wendy and she said that she was sorry for the inconvenience and he could move me on June 7th. This wa May 30th and I needed to be be out of my apartment by June 1st. I tried unsuccessfully to get a refund of my money back from the moving company Logic Logistics but you couldn't speak to someone directly and the chat option online wasn't even available. I recommend that nobody ever does business with these people again especially with a guy named Daniel. I am left alone without a mover and I've gone from shedding tears to complete dismay that someone would do this to somebody.

We have several damaged items and wet furniture and they will not return our calls to discuss repair. They informed us they would move our washer and dryer and they left them in the garage. Poor customer service overall. I would not recommend them to another mover. We are filling complaints with BBB and the Consumer Protection Agency.
