They are super communicative through the app and I appreciate the pictures and updates that they post throughout the day, it makes me feel so comfortable that I am able to get pictures throughout the day. Anna and Suneeta in the toddler room are amazing with my son who has a harder time being away from me. Every single one of the staff here is so amazing and it helps me feel comfortable leaving my kids in their care!

I do not recommend this school for toddlers…read more I received a message through their app that there had been an incident with my 2 year old son and that he had fallen off a ladder during outside water time. Attached to the message was a picture of my sons face with an extremely large bruise on his left cheek bone. An incident like this warrants more than just a text message from their staff. A phone call would have been more appropriate. Especially since their was a head injury. I most certainly question what their staff is doing during their outside play time, because Ive had multiple conversations / incidences with staff in regards to the little kids playing in the "big kid area" it's clearly not safe for them near there. Unfortunately bc of this incident we are no longer having our son attend Heartprints Montessori. Self-directed activity doesn't mean you let these toddlers do whatever they want and not observe/watch them.

This will be our 3rd year as a family at the Co-op and I can't recommend it more for not only your…read morekiddo, but also the community that comes with it. It is so nice to get together with like-minded parents that just want a place where their kids can play and explore. You yourself get a chance to be in the classroom and help out, play and see all of your kids' friends interact. Soon you will be getting your feet in the sand yard, going to parent meetings where the teachers will give you tips on how to calm your child during a meltdown, and you will talk to other parents and see that you're not alone. Some examples of community that I can think of during our time are the parent meetings, potluck events, a camping trip, and events at school where everyone is welcome for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. When we had our second child, and EECP knew we were finally home, we got a few gifts delivered for our new baby, but also a couple of big brother gifts and books from the school. When I'm at work and I get some photos sent to our parent group message board of what the kids are doing that day, it makes you wish you were at school that day instead of sitting behind a desk. Those are the times I know that we got lucky to find the EECP and other involved parents and teachers. One other thing I remembered that I enjoy is the stuff that our kiddo brings home. It is not just paintings that will soon be on your fridge or decorated shoe boxes, but also stories and music. Our 3-year-old would come home from school and teach me about Mardi Gras. He insisted on Mardi Gras songs being played in our home. He enjoyed dancing and marching and was explaining how parades worked, as if I had no idea what one was. It was so much fun to finally go to school and see all the kids parade around in fun costumes and carry around little decorated shoe boxes they made in class. This is just one of the events that we've loved as a family and now as a community.

"In kindergarten they make you color inside the lines; at the co-op there were no lines." - my son…read more(now 9 and thriving at PCDS). Kids learn through play, and those lessons are at the heart of the EECP program. If you've read the research that shows kids learn best through play, especially at this age, EECP should be on your list. This is the only truly play-based co-op in central Phoenix. We have also found a community of likeminded parent friends. This has been a great community for our family.

We absolutely love Jessica and her attention to education and care! You get a lot for what you pay for! My daughter could count to 100 at 4 years old, write basic letters, basic math, and even her education has an introduction to Spanish, as Jessica is from Peru! The kids will learn English and Spanish phrases for both items on her lesson plans that day. If it's Thanksgiving they'll draw a turkey and learn the animal in Spanish as well, Pabo. They'll also learn colors and sing songs utilizing both Spanish and English versions! Our daughter and son are excelling in school because of this early education! Our kids still ask to go to her house all the time, we still use her care on those random off days from school where we're still working! You will love having your children in her care!

Each day is an adventure filled with arts, crafts, Spanish language immersion and outdoor play. I feel comforted by the photos sent throughout the day of my child's activities. I am informed each day about how my child did and any concerns are addressed as well. This place is a stark contrast to the generic 15-20 children daycare center my child was at before. So happy to have found Jessica and her childcare.
