If you are considering this facility for your children, be warned: their lack of transparency,…read morebasic professionalism, and accountability starts at the top. I booked a 9:00 AM tour and took time off work to attend. I arrived early at 8:55 AM and rang the doorbell. Nobody answered. After waiting several minutes, I rang again--still nothing. I actually had to call their 1-800 number just to get someone to open the front door. Once inside, I completed the intake paperwork and waited patiently. At 9:15 AM--15 minutes past my scheduled tour time--I walked to the restroom. On my way back, I personally overheard the staff member assigned to conduct my tour (who had clearly just strolled in late with a coffee in hand) tell the receptionist: "I have to make a call. She can wait." Expecting a prospective client - who took time off work - to sit around while a tardy employee handles personal matters is completely disrespectful. After waiting 20+ minutes past my appointment time, I informed the receptionist I would no longer wait and left. Within five minutes of leaving, "Ms. Lily" called me, playing completely oblivious and claiming she was just notified I had "cancelled" my tour. After I explained what actually happened, she offered a canned apology. Out of curiosity, I called back the number where the call came from, only to discover that Ms. Lily was intentionally trying to intercept and intercept/mitigate my complaint internally to keep it from escalating to higher management by calling from her personal line. This level of duplicity and damage control is alarming. If this is how management operates before a family even enrolls, I can only imagine the complete lack of accountability once your children are through the door. Save yourself the frustration. My two children will be going elsewhere. (Note to management: Do not reply with your generic canned response asking me to call your front office to discuss this. There is nothing left to discuss, and your facility manager's dishonest behavior speaks for itself.)

Obviously, it was a huge deal for us. He's a big mamas boy, and doesn't do well with strangers. I knew the transition to daycare would be a challenge for both of us, but I also knew it would be so beneficial in the long run. I researched daycares for months before selecting Primrose. Their flexible schedule options, secure building, and balanced learning curriculum was exactly what we were looking for. But most importantly, my son's reaction to the teachers and atmosphere sealed the deal. So far we have been nothing but satisfied. The staff is awesome. The director, Ms. Ellington, made such an effort to make sure we were informed and comfortable with everything. She also is very thoughtful and has a genuine concern for his best interest. The teachers in the toddler classroom (Ms. Lattie & Ms. Brown) are very patient and have made such an effort to help him feel comfortable and safe each day. The app they use gives me updates throughout the day. It is so helpful and reassuring. The activities and curriculum are great and he has already learned so much. And the communication from the school as a whole is great. We're very pleased so far

The teachers are so sweet and have good tenure, the front office staff also have been there for years and years and offer fun programming. The strong focus on curriculum and academics is what initially drew us to the school, but we also love the app for updates and pictures throughout the day, the kitchen and menu offerings that save us from needing to pack and send meals, and the nicely shaded playgrounds. It's a great school all around!

This means I have now experienced childcare in 3 different rooms at this center and at different stages of my child's development. I chose Wirtzies because when we walked the center the assistant director at the time acknowledged children with their names as we walked through. She showed that the staff there would care about my child and treat them like a little human and not just a child. My gut felt that this would be a good place. They offer an inner generational program where the children have time with the elderly adults in their day program. This also was something that was of interest to me. My gut was right. They care about my child. My child has learned so much from them that he wouldn't learn at home. I get pictures and updates from them regularly. There have been incidents where he is hurt or hurts someone else. But you would be hard pressed to find a parent who watches their own child and never gets hurts. You can't watch your child 24 hours a day and neither can they with a state ratio of 5 to 1. They have addressed each incident appropriately. They care about my child and that is worth anything I need to pay them but they are affordable. I know they also offer state subsidized care if needed. My child is happy there. He loves his friends and his teachers. He even loves the ladies at the front desk.

Andrea and Vanessa have made my daughter feel safe and comfortable. Outstanding teachers/caregivers are very rare. Hats off to Andrea! She just knows what my daughter needs (as if she has known her longer than a few months!) Vanessa with her kind smile, is there to help my daughter feel secure that she can wear her backpack till she's ready to take it off. Seriously, the teamwork that has been developed in this class is what any parent would hope for. To all the other ladies as well, I just wanted to give a huge thank you for guiding my daughter in this class! I am forever grateful! I drive away every morning knowing my daughter is in excellent hands!

Hello parents of future Basis or other academically challenging schools!…read more I want to share with you our great experience with Miss Patty. We are a French family. When we arrived in Phoenix one year ago Louca didn't know one word in English!. It was at this moment we had the chance to meet Miss Patty. Miss Patty is not only an experienced teacher but a great person. Her positivity and good energy made Louca connect with her from the beginning. As a result, Louca was more than happy to go to study at her home. Louca reached a point academically, where he was so advanced that we decided to start kindergarten one year before the official date for him. He has a December birthday, which is too late for the kindergarten deadline, and as a result it was necessary for him to test into kindergarten early. This decision was made, not just for Louca to continue learning, but additionally from a financial point of view Louca's starting school a year early, omitted the necessity of another year of preschool cost. Miss Patty prepared Louca for the Early kindergarten testing at Basis school, which happens to be one of the most exigent schools academically. Louca had a great result and was accepted. Today we are very proud of Louca and very grateful to Miss Patty. To leave Louca's education in her hands was a great decision that makes us feel proud too as parents!
