The Inn is located about 15 minutes to Ruby Hospital but leave time for traffic! The Inn has a lovely welcoming area with open seating and a fireplace. However, the WIFI stinks! If you have more than one device (especially with kids), it's the worst I've encountered across all Inns. I was able to connect my iPhone fairly quickly, but it took almost 1.5 hours to connect my iPad. GRRRRRRRRR The TV in the room has a buzzing speaker which was highly irritating. The bed was comfortable and bathroom clean and plenty of hot water in the morning. Breakfast was eggs, waffles, biscuits, but didn't see any meat (bacon, ham, sausage) - maybe I missed it.. we are old couple attended graduation ceremony of our grand daughter at WVU. Stayed at this hotel It was nice. staff was friendly. we asked for extra comforter and pillows they accommodated without any hesitation. Breakfast was hot with bacon, biscuits and gravy. Just want to let you guys know that they don't have Elevator. Plan it accordingly. read more

This is what they mean when they say "no frills" hotel, and I'm 100% okay with it. They have waffles, oatmeal, yogurts and juices, not to mention all day coffee which we enjoyed in the afternoon. They have an outdoor pool, which is not to be enjoyed in november, when we visited, but I didn't expect to. I knew that we would be out all day and literally only come in to sleep, so if you know you won't be there most of the time, why pay more for things you won't use? This was the basis that I chose this hotel on, and I'm glad we did. Amanda, the front desk, was the sweetest southern woman I have ever come across and made our stay that much more enjoyable. They also give the fci discount, which I know other guests here took advantage of, which is great. Overall, I would reccomend. read more

Great staff. Great surprise, especially for the price. Would definitely go back. Bed was very comfortable. The lobby is fabulous to enjoy friends. A good not breakfast bar. We had adjoining rooms but the problem was we could hear everything from other room. Only thing negative (aside from adjoining room) was red spot on carpet, I chose to believe ketchup. read more

We stopped here on our way traveling through. The front desk gal at check in was wonderful, we enjoyed an evening in the outdoor pool, the beds were comfortable and the highlight of our trip was the new breakfast Gal I believe her name is Vanessa (she's from Cape May NJ). She was very hospitable and we enjoyed her company. The breakfast bar was clean & well stocked and we loved the fresh waffle iron. Having friendly staff is so important and welcoming. We make this trip to NJ each year and we will return here on our way through next time. read more

Under construction during our stay. Dumpsters in the parking lot. We were not informed upon check in. Although our room was finished (mostly) the hallway was not! Just bare padding?! Upgrades will be nice once it's done - properly. Just many things left undone. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Pool was nice. What started as a wonderful stay, ended in disaster. The "friendly" management and staff are completely phony and only last for as long as the stay. After some surprise double charges to our cards, we called and spoke with a "manager" who proceeded to shout at us and wouldn't let us get a word in. When we asked nicely that she stop interrupting, she accused us as being rude. She did, however, promise to have a "manager" call us back, which makes us believe she wasn't a manager as she first claimed. It has now been over a day and we have yet to receive a call. Quality Inn in Morgantown is nothing more than lipstick on a pig. Don't buy into the friendly face, because it's just an act. My wife originally posted a good review, but that was before we were treated like garbage. We will never stay at a Quality Inn again. read more

This motel was quite nice. The room was clean with the exception of a bottle and a sock wrapper found underneath the bed skirt. The front desk lady was nice. Breakfast was very good. All in all, a pleasant stay. read more

Easily the best Quality Inn I've ever stayed in. Great location just off 68 but quiet. Clean and fresh decor, spacious lobby/eating area, pleasant and comfortable rooms. Service is very friendly. Wi-Fi free and fast. Only thing missing is elevator access to the second floor for heavy luggage. read more

So I stayed like a month ago for the weekend to visit my family. I called a few days before and booked a king room for me, my 17 month old, and my fiancé. I checked in and told the front desk my name and they were confirming my card and phone number I gave them over the phone. All of the information was wrong so that was the first red flag. When I went to my room it was a completely different room and it had 2 double beds which is not what I booked. I went to the front desk and told them. The guy got rude and said well we don't have any king rooms available and you booked the double bed room on booking.com. I was super confused because I definitely didn't book my room as a double bed or did it online. My room also smelled like cigarettes and it was a non smoking room. The next day we left and came back and couldn't get into our room. We went down and they told us it was because I only booked one night and again I booked for the weekend not a night. When we checked out I told the lady my experience and how I never got the room I wanted and all the issues and she said she was sorry and that they updated their system so some things have been messing up. She gave me $20 off my whole stay. 3 weeks later I decided to give them another shot.... I actually ordered on Priceline and then called to make sure it was booked. When we got to our room I noticed a moldy smell and a few ants. Also the lock on the door so people can't come in was not on and my 17 month old kept escaping because he could unlock the first lock. I told the front desk and they said they don't have any rooms available and they would have to call the maintenance who just got off his shift to come back and fix it. I felt bad but we needed it for my son. The day we checked out we woke up to an ant infestation. There were at least 20-30 ants in our beds. I then noticed them all over the room and walls. We immediately got out of bed and started packing and as we were packing we noticed black mold in the bathroom and condoms and a hair clip underneath our bed. We complained to the front desk and they said that I would have to give Priceline a call for a refund and then they gave me a free night. I don't want a free night! I don't ever want to stay there again! I called Priceline and it's been nothing but problems back and forth. They want me to call quality inn to possibly get a refund and then quality inn wants me to call Priceline to maybe get one. The only thing they've done was give me a free night! Why would. I want that!! Don't ever stay here! I took a couple pics and videos of the stuff. The pictures don't do justice! They ants were awful and black mold were awful. They also told me multiple people have complained about the ants.... read more

I am giving this hotel a 2-star review only because of the kind customer service from Daisy. Otherwise, it would be a one star review. The room we were given had tar on the floor and a big wad of Blue Gum bathroom was not clean and it appeared the sheets were not clean as well. There was a lot of construction going on in the hotel the carpets were ripped up the TV was not working either so we decided not to stay. Daisy of course was very apologetic and refunded our charge card. We will not patronize this hotel again. read more

We've stayed here before and it was nice. But with the upgrades in the bathroom and others areas, it was an even nicer experience. Amanda was awesome! She was always offering to help with something, asking if there was anything she could do for us. She even booked our rooms for 7 months from now when we come back. The staff is 100% 5 star but I almost worked there. Today was my first day of work there and I was informed that housekeeping is not completely stripping blankets in the midst of the global pandemic. After bringing that up, I realized I was going to be sick. I told them the job wasn't for me. Not only is this unsafe for the workers, but unsafe for the guests. Coronavirus doesn't live more than 3 hours in the air but it lasts a good while on surfaces. It makes me extremely uncomfortable. read more

This hotel is a good place to stay if looking for a comfortable night or two stay while on the road. We checked in on Saturday and stayed through Monday; upon check in there were chocolate chip cookies! The room also had some perks with a microwave and refrigerator which was very helpful because we could put our leftovers in the fridge. And, if you're traveling with a dog, they have pet friendly rooms! You just need to call ahead to see if any of the rooms are available. Arrived at check in time on a Friday, we were told our room was on the second floor (and there's no elevator), so we lugged our stuff up the stairs. The entire hotel smells like mothballs so that's fun. When we entered our room we saw about 20 or 30 stink bugs all over the curtains and ceiling. I went downstairs right away to request another room, while we did get another room the woman at the counter said "that's the problem with having automatic doors, they just fly right in". So you're telling me every one of the stink bugs that flew in went to that one room? No, maybe you need to check the insulation around the window. The new room was okay, stains on the sheets, but it could've been worse. It was a mediocre hotel and we won't be staying here again. read more

Best hotel in area hands down. I drove my daughter from Ft. Lee to WVU and stayed here to help her move in the dorms. This hotel is clean, rooms stocked, fresh green tea greeting you upon arrival. The staff was super friendly and helpful to us. Our two day stay was perfect. The bed was comfy with a fridge, micro and safe, quiet and a pretty good breakfast. it sits right next to a restaurant that is very good. I can't find it on Yelp or I would write a review. My only hope is that they get better signage we drove right past it the first time. Plenty of shopping around and a 3 minute drive to campus. I will stay here every time I'm visiting my daughter at college. read more

One of the worste hotel stays I have ever had. I called ahead to book a room for 5, I was told the room would sleep 5 comfortably. Once we got there the room had a king bed and a single pull out. We requested two cots to be brought to the room. We later found out they only have 1 cot per floor and went able to bring the second one to the room as there wasn't an elevator. Once we returned to the room to try and figure out what we wanted to do about the situation we opened the one cot. Only to discover a very old and gross half eaten breakfast pastry folded up inside the cot. We went to the front desk to discuss this over with them. The only solution they had was to rent us another room at 15% off. So we ended up renting the other room at our expense. The hotel is also in the middle of some very past due renovations. I honestly don't know if I would ever stay at another quality Inn if they paid me to stay the night. Very disappointed read more
