This is probably one of the worst hotels on the planet. Staff is rude and non-caring and are probably still wet from crawling across a river or out of a ditch. Not a place I would stay - it would be a night at the rest area or truck stop sleeping in my car before I'd spend one more night in ANY Qualiltyless Inn's anywhere in the United States. Little boy lost his laptop and I was trying to return it before I left town and the slope head behind the desk said she can't help. Gave me a bunch of bulldung about nothing and that she was just lazy and didn't care. If only Yelp went to NEGATIVE numbers then it would make sense. Tony and I stopped at this Quality Inn on our way from Nashville TN to Mrytle Beach SC on my birthday trip. The hotel was clean and had great reviews. Our room was a great location near interstate, restaurants and even shopping I would stay here again. Room was clean beds comfortable with no bugs...hell yeah!! Not a bad place. Good location for places to eat. Breakfast was a bit weak with just sausage as the only hit item besides waffles.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Everyone that works here is lacking most of their brain cells and basic understanding of hospitality. They will charge you $70, for using their towels or sheets and wash cloths. And they will not be nice or understanding. Which is absolutely absurd because this is theft by deception and they will not send you an accurate receipt of the issues that they are apparently having "damaged." Sounds like deception to me. This is not a family friendly establishment. It is not clean. There was food on the floor from previous guess when we arrived. Don't take my word on it. Read every shooter review and you will see I'm not the only person that this has happened to. If this has happened to you I highly encourage you to call corporate. Every single business in America is allowed to right off expenses at the end of the year on every single tax return. This is a hotel and one of the supplies needed to run a hotel is body towels, hand towels, wash rags, sheets, beddings, pillows etc. you get the understanding. They are simply trying to steal from you. I high suggestions spending the extra money at a Marriott. They are MUCH nicer and their staff is always super friendly. I also highly enjoy wyndhams. Most rooms where booked solid so I gave this property a try. I am a Choice diamond member because I own a trucking company and stay on the road a lot. This place charged me for dirty towels! The manager said to my wife the towels was to black for them to wash. I feel that is a racist thing to say being I'm black and was dirty from work. So they have a problem with a dirty working black man washing his ass after work! And charged me for using a wash towel to wipe taco bell mild sauce off my hands. I will not allow another one of my drivers to come there and I definitely will not be back again. My attorney will be giving the property a call soon about those racist comments and will be requesting pictures of the black towels! read more

Thieves! The hotel itself is fine, I did not have a problem with it. After I checked out I was fraudulently charged over $200 for "damages" which consisted of a small coffee stain about the size of a quarter on a sheet. They are claiming I have to replace the cover, mattress pad, sheets, everything. I always go out of my way to make sure the room is left in very good shape so the cleaning employees don't have to do much. The general manager REFUSES to contact me, call me, respond to emails, respond to phone calls. The front desk claims he will call and that they gave him my info, but it has been a week and he has no intention of doing so. this hotel gets few guests, so they are obviously trying to squeeze every dollar out of the guests they do have. They are crooks and liars. The general manager should be ashamed. Do not stay here! read more

Fine for a basic budget motel. The room was clean. Breakfast was lame (a variety of wheat and sugar combos) and coffee atrocious (but there's a Starbucks and Bojangles nearby, thank goodness). Staff (both front desk and housekeeping) were pleasant, attentive, and basically outstanding. read more

The cleaning staff is horrible. Lied about coming to my room multiple days. Then when I called the front about them, they proceeded to come and bang as loud as the could on my door. So many flies in the room that you can't leave anything out. read more

After reading the previous reviews after the fact. I am in full agreement with the way staff treats guests. I would like to add that you will be charged more and penalty applied if you use a crockpot style cooker in the room. Non of this is of course stated any where on their website and since I travel a lot and prefer to make my own meals I won't be using any of these chain hotels or any affiliated hotels. read more

If I could give a negative 5 star review I would . The first was my mom walking out upset we couldn't stay here because none of the rooms had been cleaned and the best part was seeing the lady's laughing and giggling about turning away the people before us who also had reservations set such a nice lovely reception team to be on their phones laughing and having such a good time at work ! Even better was when I walked back in to ask what the problem was and why my mother was so upset they preceded to be very condescending but I guess that what you get when even the manager doesn't care. None the less making us wait and then giving such attitude when I called and asked for the managers name who she was really hesitant to give . I understand that it may be understaffed and have a lot of problems in a hotel but maybe fine another job if you're not even wanting to manage your team or control your employees attitudes who have such a " WELL I JUST GOT HERE AT TWO " attitude ( speaking that it was 4:00 Thank you for not accommodating us and we found a much better place to stay thanks ! Interesting how I ended up here..., I had a reservation for an econolodge that doesn't exist. I stopped here for directions and found that that hotel has never existed. How you can book online I have no clue . Given that it was late they did their best to accommodate closely to my ' phantom' rate. The asst mgr was very helpful and after she saw I was towing a trailer gave me a more convenient room. For the price the hotel was good. Bed clean and comfortable bathroom functional. TV got lots of stations. Nice folk so this may be my stopping point. read more

This hotel and its staff are amazing! We stayed in the King Suite and talk about relaxing. You could compare it to a studio apartment. It was roomy and super cute. The best part was definitely the jacuzzi!!! Amanda Wilson was the manager on duty and we had just arrived there a little after midnight coming from the Quality Inn in Jefferson which had terrible service and mold infested/disgusting rooms and she was very understanding and helped us out a great deal!! If you are ever in the area I would definitely recommend you staying at the Quaility Inn in Commerce!!! read more

We went to check into our 2 double bed room about 6:00pm and was told they didn't have one I'd have to take a king...sure, I'd been driving 12 hours and still had a wedding to get to. It took about 25 minutes for her to check me in even though I was the only one in the lobby. She kept going from one computer to the other and says I needed to pay and it was a bit more than what was online. I told her the receipt I had from online said it's a prepaid rate. Finally get my key card, get up to the room & super fast get ready for the wedding because we're now 25 minutes behind schedule, then leave. We come back about 1:00 am and our key cards aren't working. I head to the office and the girl says I'm at the wrong room. I said no, that's where I am. She then looked it up and said the computer says a different room. I said I've already been in there and all my stuff is in there. She takes the key card envelope to see where at check-in the room number was written. She called her manager and said something about "there's someone here that says the stuff in that room is hers" and then tells me they gave our room to another guest and that guest went into our room and saw our things and they had to send that person to another hotel. I asked if I needed to change rooms and she said no but she needed to check the room on file to see what's in there. I saw her go in there & I went into my room. The next morning I had to drive back home, 11 hours, and when I checked out the same woman that checked me in asked the room number. I explained what happened and she laughed then handed me a receipt - which still had the incorrect room number. I called Choice Hotels customer service number to explain what happened and they said they'd get back to me in 72 hours and they sent an complaint to the general manager also. I emailed the general manger that night. 4 days later, I called Choice Hotels and was basically told it's noted on file and that's all that's gonna happen. So if you don't want strangers going through your belongings, being overcharged, and then laughed at when you bring it up, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. There's about 5 others on that street - pick one of those. read more

Avoid this hotel at all costs. It has the rudest owner/management I have ever encountered. They would demand tp search our rooms for an imaginary pet that we didnt have. We were constantly reminded to make sure there were no stains on the towels or we could be charged $200 to replace them. They searched our room on several occassions when we were not at the hotel, other guests saw the entire thing. We were escaping Hurricane Irma and were harrassed the entire stay, instead of being treated with compassion. The floors were so dirty that after just a shirt while the bottoms of our feet were black. There were not enough blankets. (Not counting the top cover they do not wash between guests.( Thank goodness we brought our own, knowing most hotels dont) Bottom line, there are many surrounding options, this would be my last choice. Kindness matters. They havent figured that out yet. And I am veing kibd in this review...it is truly a miserable place. read more

For starters the pool was outside was our number one disappoint for 2 the room smelt so bad like cigarette smoke like people been smoking in it for ages there was loud banging noises all night like they were working on the building or something all there vending and laundry services were outside which it was raining so would be inconvenient for some people that were doing laundry there complimentary breakfast sucked not a huge variety at all read more
