I usually check with Kiley about movies, books, or restaurant recommendations. She focuses on customer care and interacts enjoyably with every patron even when they are having a bad day. Sure, I want the better deal, so I thought this hotel was a dirty little secret. I booked my stay here for 3 nights. There's probably 50-75 rooms here and 50 parking spaces.. go figure!! It's located 8.0 miles from the ocean, next to 10 other hotels, and North Fwy Access is right as you pull out the driveway. The lobby is clean and looks just like the pics.. that's about it. The people that were hanging out by the front door smoking have zero care if breathe second hand smoke... whatever happened to 50' away from entrances..? People park their oversized vehicles in 2 spaces,(need to be towed), one car had a missing tire.. No snacks to be purchased as the closest gas station is about a mile away...(Don't go to Buc-ee's off plantation- it's the worst I've been too) The free breakfast? Is from 5-9a. Apple/OJ, coffee or milk... Today was biscuits n gravy, sausage- (No eggs) Make your own waffle 2 different cereal in a package That's it.... With 3 tables to sit at, so if all occupied, you're standing or back to your room Marriott breakfast ? Eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, oatmeal, waffles, 4 different cereals, yogurt, fruit, and 3 juices.. 15 tables to sit at- just an FYI THE ROOMS Walked into the room, was about 90 degrees. If I have a reservation, the front desk should go turn on my AC for me, so it's not a sauna during the summer months- but not here... Our room had a front area to sit and watch TV on a couch. The Direct TV worked 20% of the time, finally gave up and turned it off... The TV in the bedroom works perfectly, but 20' away, had the volume 75% of the full volume. The bed was actually comfortable with clean sheets and 4 small pillows (so bring yours) The A/C is a window mounted.. so it takes most the night on full blast to get your room cool... but leave it running while away or it will get hot fast.. The bathroom is small, not very spacious, not for 2+ people at once. The shower/tub but supposed to have a walk-in shower, just not at this hotel. There's Limited hot water in the morning, so be prepared for a Luke warm shower. Sad, but for $75 a night.. it is what it is.
