You can be so unfortunate as to have a truly awful - and not exactly cheap - dinner there, and the amount of practical information is unsatisfactory (for instance, customers aren't necessarily told in advance that the restaurant closes at 7PM on Sundays).
There's a terrific view over the fjord from the grounds (including at least one furnished terrace) and at least some of the rooms, though; the hotel is conveniently near Oslo; and parts of the buildings have a nice historical atmosphere to them (authentic classic Norwegian décor). Also, there's a nice little lawn on which you can sit or lie among apple trees in the summer. read more
