Jeff will take you to see houses and will teach you about looking for water in the basement, checking out drainage and the foundation, warning signs and potential 'challenges', as well as being able to answer your questions about septic vs cesspool, how much electric you really need, sussing out if there is gas on the street (for a later stove conversion), and telling you how old the roof is just by looking at it. And any other questions you might have! If he doesn't know the answer, he will find out. He is so thorough and eagle-eyed that you can get excited about the hardwood floors and eat-in kitchen, knowing that Jeff will spot EVERYthing you need to be aware of. He's also really personable which helps when you're spending entire weekend days with someone. We had one crushing disappointment along the way -- not his fault -- and Jeff's straightforward "Okay, that's in the past, let's move forward" attitude was key in getting us right back out there (and we found our house THAT weekend.) He will guide you through the entire process, through closing, and make you feel -- the whole time -- pretty much like you are his only client.
