Sheds gazebos and…read more dog houses. I like sheds. They're a great place to put stuff. I like them so much when we lived in Ct I had three of them, all from Carefree. Carefree not only has sheds but lots of gazebos, pavilions, and even cool looking dog houses. They now have three or four locations and a great catalog that describes all the different styles and options. This flexible is one of the things that makes it so much fun to get a shed or gazebo from Carefree. You can get a very basic building or one in more elaborate style like Dutch Barn, Cape or Saltbox. You then can add doors, windows, flower boxes, transoms, porches and even cool looking cupolas and weathervanes. You can then choose from a whole bunch of different siding options with lots of colors and styles. Besides just sheds and buildings Carefree also offers dog houses, porch and swing sets, wooden picnic tables, fancy bird feeders, arbors, and even some cool little wooden bridges and lighthouses. Zillions of possibilities. Some of the sheds are quite small and others can be up to 48 feet and can function as garages or barns. I have a 19 foot long kayak that was a pain to store. I got a 12 by 20 foot Dutch Barn and my problem was solved. I had room for three kayaks, a bunch of bikes, some junky furniture and still had plenty of room left over for lawn mowers and garden stuff. Carefree usually moves the already assmebled building by truck and then dumps it down wherever you want it. If your preferred spot is inaccessible they will built it wherever you want. They do a great job and make sure the spot is first level and clear. So if you need a building to hold a car, gazebo for entertaining, swing set for the kids, or simply a shed to hold rutabagas Carefree will probably have exactly what you desire. I bought 16'X22' shed from Carefree Small Buildings for $29,000. The sales person spoke of a…read morehistory of quality. Quality was what I expected for $29,000. The day of installation was disappointing. The workmanship was terrible both on the factory end and the installation end. The quality of the lumber used to build the shed was not good. Some of the lumber is water stained, split, and splintered. The doors are hollow. There was no cleanup. I had to clean up after the installers, sweep the debris from the floors and wash the windows. I complained about the poor workmanship and condition of the wood. Not what I expected for $29,000. I was refunded $1,000 and received a letter of apology. I would rather have had a quality shed.

A man who…read morebuilds Philip Hayes is a well known contractor along the shoreline. He'll do just about any type of construction including additions, renovations or even build an entire house. While we were living in Clinton we had him build a two-car garage. We wanted some extra room for a workshop and some additional electrical outlets and a space on top, so he took the time and listened to our exact needs and came up with a design that was perfect. He then gave us a price and a date and that was it. The garage was completed on time at the right price and turned out exactly what we wanted. No delays or complications. Perhaps we could have found some less experienced, less professional builder for less but why leave yourself open for disappointment.
