Also a seating area for sipping and noshing. We chose two large croissants for sandwich making later and a "gotta have it now" apple fritter. I without fail will search out a local bakery everywhere in the world I travel, and I will say with zero hesitation that this still warm, cinnamony, fritter was right at the top of fritters/pastries I've ever enjoyed anywhere.
