I used the Cleaners in Colony Crossing for my other dry cleaning needs. I do not allow them to clean what I called my splurge items (one is my Ralph Lauren Linen Blazer). I dropped off two blazers at the Lake Harbour location to be cleaned. The Ralph Lauren blazer had two ink marks on it. When I picked it up, the ink marks were larger and speared on the front of the blazer and the sleeve contained several more unidentified stains. The employee implied that it was a marker stain. Also, the blazer has lost some of it coloring. I sent it back for to be cleaned a second time. I took the second blazer home (Jones of New York). I was packing the second blazer for a business trip to RI when I noticed a stain on the sleeve. I returned it to your store for a second cleaning. On Friday (November 20th), I stopped by to pick up my blazers. The second blazer was in better condition but still wearable. The Ralph Lauren blazer is unwearable. On Monday (November 23rd), I called Karen and she said the blazer was in that condition when I brought it in for cleaning. She implied that it was some type of heavy duty ink in the pen. That is simply not true. The receiving employee can testify (if she will) to the initial condition of the blazer. I worked as an educator for over thirty years and often get ink in my clothes. I have never had a problem with ink stain removal even at The Cleaners in Madison. I think that Hallmark cleaners should replace my blazer. I am not asking for money. I just want another blazer. I Karen for asked for the owner's name and contact information but she refused to supply the information. She said she will have the owner contact me. "At Hallmark Cleaners, customer satisfaction is our commitment to you. We offer complete laundry and dry-cleaning services to meet the clothing-care needs of our customers." This is the quote from your website. I am 20+ years customer. Where is my satisfaction? Where is your commitment? Steve (the owner) returned my call (November 23rd @11:49 AM. He said the cleaners cannot be responsible for my blazer because it was unwearable when I brought it in. That is simply not true and the stain is worse. He said he was involved from the beginning and so was Karen (his manager of 17 years). If the blazer caused that much concern that the manager and owner both must get involved in the cleaning discussion prior to cleaning, why wasn't I also privy to the discussion? If gave permission to clean the garment, the results would have been on me and we would not be having these discussions. I have no reason to lie about the issue and I am very disappointed in Hallmark cleaners after over 20 years of great customer service. I told Steve I would stop by and pick up my blazers on my way to Spa Becca this afternoon. Therefore, I guess customer satisfaction is not Hallmark's Cleaners commitment to ALL customers.
