Lee, the Owner, was quite helpful in my quest for a dual dashcam but I went with another brand that he sold for my Mini.

I brought my car to Quality Car Stereo with connectivity issues between my iPhone and the input jack of my 2011 car. Lee agreed to take a quick look to determine the source of the problem. He sat in the car with me and quickly determined the source of the problem -- a faulty connector between the iPhone and the input jack. I am so automotively impaired, he could have concocted a reason to do unnecessary expensive work, but he was amazingly honest. I asked him what I owed, and he told me there was no charge! Who does that nowadays? This is an honest and reputable business. There is no question that I will come here first with any issues related to my audio system, or when I decide to upgrade. read more

Asked for a quote online...never heard back. Called three weeks ago to get a quote on replacing my car stereo that is not working properly. Took down all my info and said he would call me back in a couple of days. I called back a week and a half later and was told he didn't remember me calling and took my info AGAIN. Showed up and they looked at my vehicle. They needed me to research additional information myself, so I did and gave the information the following day. They said they'd see what would be best for me and give me a call over the next few days. More than a week later, I call back inquiring. A female answered the phone and said she had been gone and things had been disorganized while she was away and they couldn't find my notes. She apologized on behalf of her team. Took all my information and then let me talk to one of the men who works there. He also asked for all my information during that same phone call (this is the third time I gave my demographics, make, model, what I was wanting, etc.). Said he'd call me back in a few minutes. One week later, still nothing. I call again today, a different guy answers, the one who originally sat in my car, and says he remembers me and that I needed an amp and a sub but states -again- that my notes were missing. How frustrating. He states that they have been very busy and this is the reason for all the trouble. Then asks when I'm available stating they have pretty much any times or dates available this week... doesn't sound busy to me but maybe I'm just being an asshole due to the frustration. After choosing a date and time, he asks what I was wanting, such as a sub, or a sub and an amp. Are you kidding? Not only have you sat in my car, and I've confirmed everything THREE times over the phone, but we just talked about this 2 minutes prior when he said he remembered me and my vehicle. At that point and after giving them several exceptions, understanding how crazy work can get, I was completely over it. The organization and communication at Quality Car Stereo is subpar at best. And telling your customers you will call them back three different times and never once do is simply unacceptable, especially considering I waited an extensive period of time before nagging them again each time. There's a reason why Quality has been around so long. They installed the audio systems in 2 different vehicles of mine over 20 years ago. They set me up today in my current vehicle and nothing has changed. Lee will not sell you anything you don't need and he will ensure the end result is exactly what you want. I couldn't be happier with the new setup, and I'll always recommend them for anyone looking to upgrade the sound in their vehicle. read more

I'll never forget when I had a sub seem like it had gone out and I showed up to quality car. The owner was pretty quick to start telling me why my subs (that have hit amazingly hard for years and years) are sub-par compared to more expensive subs and why they can't handle what I want. His technician goes out to check as he actually cared it seems, and a plug from their install had barely come loose without me noticing. The tech plugged it right back in and both subs worked great again. The owner seemed pretty disappointed and not too happy when he saw that now he couldn't sell me new subs. Beware guys. Sound system businesses love to tell you that you need more than you really do. read more

I had a auto tracker installed on my teenage child's vehicle a few months back. They did a fantastic job so I wanted to install one on my vehicle but it seems they are extremely busy. I have been trying 3 weeks now to get an appointment but in my opinion, they keep putting me off and don't return my calls when they say they will. I guess it's time to find another installer. Been going here off and on for 20 years when I live in Pensacola. I usually had a good experience but about a year or so ago I took in my car and they installed a stereo and speakers. They broke several of my dash pieces and left everything a mess and not set up properly and where several hours past what they quoted. I would have said something then but it was after hours and they rushed me out. I called the next day and got blown off after 2 weeks of calls and emails I just showed up and waited for the owner, he looked at the damage and tried to blow me off then said the installer had a bad day and he would find the broken dash pieces to fix my car (I gave him a link to the pieces) after weeks and many calls He was avoiding me. I still have not heard from them and will never go back! I have paid more to fix my car than the stereo and install was to begin with. NOT HAPPY! read more

The team at Quality Car Stero..is outstanding! I made a visit to them for a problem I was having with a speaker. They could have easily sold me over $200. In new speakers but offered to help me trouble shoot mine. After pin pointing the problem a repair was made at a fraction of the cost. Thanks Guys. read more
