I called a day prior to schedule a leather seat replacement cover installation in my Tacoma. The quote was reasonable, and he saw me first thing the next day and it took about an hour to finish. I'm really happy with the result, and will be bringing my future business here. Thanks Manuel! read more

I expected a good job with my 30 year old VW Dune Buggy. Instead I got an outstanding job, looks amazing, and better than anything I have seen. Job was done in time, on budget, and will come back for a set of seats to install plus a few other things as well. Manuel, thank you very much!! Give this company a try. Your vehicle will also look new!!! read more

Replace the headliner and it looks great. He was very responsive on the phone and the work was great at a fair price.

Called to get estimate, felt they were very reasonable on price and were very helpful in getting me scheduled despite my busy work schedule. I was running late for my appointment but yet they still got me in and out faster than they had promised. Under promise, over deliver is definitely demonstrated here. Needless to say I am very happy with the work that was done. read more

Quality Auto Upholstery lives up to it's name. Manuel was friendly, accommodating and efficient. I made a request to have the headliner on the Accord done before 1 pm so I could get to work and he texted me in less than 2 hours that it was done! My GF is head over heels about your Frenchie pooch, ha! Five stars all the way! read more

Needed headliner replaced on 2006 Dodge Caravan. Found this excellent local family business! The price was more reasonable than 6 others, they did the work next day and had our shop van back to us and making money by 11am, just like they said! *Laughing at the clown who left one star as all others but one are 5 stars. This guy says he can do it in two hours. I say he should have then! Duh! These guys did a great job for us! Thank you! read more

I've had an entire set of 5 dining room chairs redone here. The price is right and the service is outstanding. They don't call him "Speedy" for nothing. I had 2 done last year to see how that went. Well it was great so I brought 3 more in yesterday and was able to pick them up today. Very happy customer. read more

This shop is amazing. I was expecting to wait all day but they got it done in less than a hour and half. They are very professional and quick. I will be recommending them to everyone I know. read more

I needed my work truck seat reupholstered, it was all ripped up. Another company said I would need to leave it for 2 days. Brought it to Quality Auto Upholstery and they did a beautiful job in just a few hours. read more

When we decided to reupholster the mattress, cushions and settee in our RV, Quality Auto Upholstery was our first choice. Manual and his dad were excellent in providing a wide range of samples from which to select, as well as being quick to provide service. Their workmanship was exceptional, as was their care in removing and reinstalling the settee, mattress and cushions. The improved ambiance their workmanship provided to our RV's interior was a wonderful improvement and their quick turnaround allowed us to start our vacation on time. We definitely recommend them! read more

I used Yelp to help find this outstanding business and sure glad I went with it! Friendly service from the first phone call to picking up our vehicle. The work was amazing and fast!! No way anyone can tell a hole on our driver's side seat was repaired - replaced fabric panel looks like new!! I'm fully confident you will be more than satisfied visiting these guys! Well worth the money to get our car back in order! read more

It's interesting that the place I use is also named "Quality Upholstery". I rate it very highly also. It is located at 5770 Nicolle Street inVentura and Celso is the owner. (805) 642-0530. Whatever you do, stay away from Mac's Upholstery on Thompson Blvd in Ventura. The owner -- Paul -- is a good ole boy ripoff artist who charges the rednecks in Ventura twice what Quality does and Quality does a better job. read more

I needed a new top for my S2000 and my drivers seat patched. The S2000 top can be a difficult install because most of the cockpit is taken out etc. Quality had been recommended to me by a friend.I took the car in on a Wednesday morning to Manuel and Thursday morning he texted me all was finished. I sent a text back "your kidding right?", no it was ready. Fabulous job on the top install and couldn't even tell where the seat had been fixed. Manuel, his father Speedy and crew are definitely worth a visit to see if they can help you with your auto, marine or home upholstery issues. read more

The father and son that run the shop are friendly and accommodating, they let me drop my car off a few days before the work was scheduled because I was only able to make the drive to Ventura from Santa Barbara on a Saturday (they only work half day on Saturday). I bought a new top from an online retailer for my Nissan 350z and brought it to Quality Auto Upholstery to install. They offered the best price in the Santa Barbara/Ventura area to replace the top and did a great job. The new top looks fantastic and opens and closes smoothly. I think they also ironed it out before installing, because I had it sitting in a box at my house for about 6 months before I got around to getting it installed. I highly recommend these guys for any upholstery work on your vehicle. read more

Beautiful brand new cushions perfectly upholstered for my patio furniture. These folks redid my truck's headliner a while ago and they have my dining room chairs right now. A pleasure to do business with. read more

OMG! Just got my midcentury dining chairs back (in two days!) and they are beyond fabulous! Best price in town also. And the staff, so friendly, helpful and courteous. They took them apart so I could paint them and then put them together again. You cant go wrong with these fellows. Wonderful experience! read more

So, I arranged for a ride home and intended to drop my car off at this place but screw that, what a rip-off! I'm rollin' my sweet '65 Chevelle and had already purchased foam and upholstery for my front bucket seats. This ass clown wouldn't budge from $500 for the install. Dude, I could do this myself in 2 hours. F.O. read more

Opened the door to my car, one morning, and the hood liner - fabric on the ceiling - of my very fancy car, had drooped. It's not the kind of ride you try to fix yourself. I planned to take it into a dealership. My friend, JD, who's connected to an auto shop, got a quote for the job, from a few places & I chose this one. Called Manuel, took it in as scheduled. He doesn't have a place to wait but, his Dad drove me to a coffee shop to wait. I can't recall his name but he tiene dulce - not sure that's right. It's a small shop, maybe a one man operation. Limited options, the fabric isn't a match to the rest. If a droopy liner wasn't dangerous & annoying I'd have asked him to order matching fabric. It was better than what I drove in with. But, the takeaway is, Manuel didn't try to hustle me when he saw the car, which may be a first. He got it done, within the time he quoted for the price he quoted & it looks factory. The color is so minor I'll probably leave it. No one in a few months has notice; I don't notice - I've got another upholstery related issue and plan to entrust him with it. Thanks JD, I owe you. read more

I have to recommend Quality Auto Upholstery in Ventura! The headliner of my VW CC was damaged and sagging. I took the car in today at 9 am and had it back by 3. They did an AMAZING job and it looks like new. The replaces the entire head liner. Great customer service and an even better price. Highly recommend. read more

Called around to find the best prices and ended up here. Manuel was very honest and professional. He gave me a price and timeline for my truck and both were true to his word. He also fixed up my car in no time at all. Nice to find honest workers! read more

"Speedy" did a great job with my Vanagon VW Camper job, on time and we were impressed with the work. Was not superior quality, but was very good, we were happy with the job no doubt, and the guys are friendly and approachable. I didn't go with Mac's shop on price, but if you need something showroom quality Mac might be better for you, just get ready to refinance your home for it. read more

Quality Upholstery did an awesome job putting custom leather in my 2002 BMW Z3 roadster! The quality of work was excellent. These are the same people that replaced my old convertible top. I found them friendly and easy to deal with. I would happily recommend them to my friends. John G. read more

I was referred to Quality Auto Upholstery by the service department at Kia in Ventura. I read the comments here on Yelp, and I must agree with every positive review. Manuel looked at my driver seat situation, gave me a very reasonable quote, and scheduled an appointment to fix it. I arrived for my appointment, dropped my car, then was called well within the agreed time to do the repair to let me know it was done. The charge was exactly what was quoted, and the work was very well done. I was happy with the result and price and let Manuel know. It turns out I had an issue with another car seat and asked Manuel to take a look at it earlier this week. He saw what needed to be done, invited me back today, and he fixed the issue while I had a moment to enjoy my McD's breakfast! Thanks again to Manuel and the team at Quality Auto Upholstery. Be sure to give them a visit before you make a final decision on any upholstery projects. read more
