Staff are available for regular hours (something like 9-12, 3-8), but at all other times you need to have a fob to gain access. The gym itself is beautiful - big and not too busy, with new equipment and private change rooms and showers. I love that the cardio equipment is equipped with personal televisions, and that they offer a few classes too! They also have a circuit of weights and tons of free weights as well. I can't speak to the prices of the gym - I'm only a class member, but that allows me access to the full gym on class days - I'm considering joining, because I really enjoy it! It really is a stress-free, very accepting community of people which is a bit different from my experiences at other gym chains. Give it a try! They do offer 2-week passes through Yelp!!

Every member gets a smart key and free personal training session when you sign up. Then they go around with you to every machine, load your height/weight and they test to see how much weight you should be lifting. After that, every time you go by yourself, you just plug the key in to the machine, the chair moves to where it should be and the weights configure to the perfect arrangement (until you get stronger and have to reconfigure). The key also stores how much you've been doing over time, tracks your cardio, allows your personal trainer to message you and suggest changes to your program - it's great. The YMCA itself is a great facility for families - they have a lot of swimming lessons, day care stuff, exercise classes, etc. I've heard guys complaining that the free weight area sucks compared to Good Life (I wouldn't know, I think the little bin of 5 lb dumb bells and medicine balls are top notch). This YMCA loses a star for classes. They only have one or two classes every morning, then one at noon, and maybe one or two more in the evening - way less than the Toronto YMCAs. They don't have spinning every morning either (however, I like the Oakville spinning instructors a lot - all of the classes are very tough and challenging - no duds unlike some other facilities).

Of course, I had to use my phone and I did for the last three months. I used to work out outside of the peak hours and I was always very respectful having my private session via google meet. Unfortunately, I was approached in a very abrupt way in the middle of my session by Alyssa, the GM. She asked me to turn off my phone or cancel my membership. Even though I explained to her that I was promised an exception. She could have waited for me to finalize my workout. No, she had to interrupt in a very abrupt way. I ended the google meet session and I asked to finish my workout. After finalizing it, I canceled my membership.it was very misleading allowing me to join the gym just to make me going through such a disrespectful experience. Alyssa should get a better training on customer service. I have been training with my personal trainer for 3 years via Google meet, thus developing a friendship and a professional relationship. I have already found a new gym that values my business and is open to new technologies. It gets very busy during peak hours which I avoided. I only joined one health because it is a walking distance. There are much better options, Where unhappy female member doesn't complain about seeing a respectful and quite member like myself working with a trainer via Google meet and where the GM is polite and got people skills.

Good life fitness are always helpful with that and I regret why I even joined this gym. If I can give them 0 star in terms of how least helpful these guys are, I would. I made a huge mistake of paying for the year's membership for the entire year all in one go. My hernia became worse preventing me to go to Movati gym and months went by like that, I have 4 months of membership time left and I called them to freeze my membership because of the medical issues and they said they can't because of my membership (not compassionate at all when you have a genuine medical condition regardless the membership). I remember my family and friends never had issue freezing membership regardless what membership you have, one health and Goodlife are helpful in that. My membership with Movati will run out as it is, but I will cancel my family members month to month membership with this gym. If you are healthy and fit with no chance of medical issues then sure, but if you run into anything unexpected with your health Movati doesn't care of customers like that. I'll join Goodlife or One Health once I am healed after my operation. I do not recommend this gym due to the way they deal with customers with genuine reason, otherwise gym itself is good to go to. My 1 year membership I paid for $1175.88 gone to waste. Never going back to this gym ever again.

When I arrived the kids class was just finishing up and since another location was closed for easter weekend, the Saturday class was relatively large. We all did introductions and started with some group stretches. We played some dodgeball, then did the actual workout. The coaches and members of Tidal CrossFit Bronte are all amazing!!! As an outsider, they were inviting and when we had to partner up, someone immediately asked me if I would like to work with them. Even during the workout (which lasted almost 30min) the coaches were paying attention to form and were encouraging people by name. The amazing part were they could coordinate and organize the workout despite the number of people that were there. The facility it self is HUGE, clean, and well organized.
