I have no idea how new this place is, but it's lovely.
The owner is ridiculously nice, and has an insane background in health and fitness. They seem to predominantly promote personal training, and for that the facilities look brand new, the trainers seem to really know their stuff (and are super fit themselves!) and the rates seem to be much the same as anywhere else (and apparently you can share sessions with another person, which virtually no one allows anymore).
They also have a bunch of group classes - the membership for which is like $50 a month but with no contract (which is amazing) or obligations when you sign up. They also have Groupons once in a while, and a drop-in option, too.
There aren't a TON of classes, but definitely enough to fit most people's schedules... and the classes vary a bit in difficulty depending on the instructor (Tony's classes are probably the closest to death).
Overall, really looking forward to seeing this place do well in the neighbourhood. They seem like really nice people, the classes are different every time, and the facilities are great and spacious compared to anything downtown. read more
