We drove from Kansas City to the Quad Cities to see one of our favorite bands - The Way Down Wanderers. This was our 11th time seeing them and Iowa made for state number eight and the venue was a great experience. Good sound and acoustics, small and intimate with a bar, large screen monitors, and tables for limited seating. I would love to see more shows here.

Good place to grab a cup of joe if you happen to be downtown, though. And I'd love to have a chance to catch some music there on of of my future trips.

($16 for adults) Total of five shows are put on during a season: 1 spring show, 3 summer shows, and 1 winter show. When Guild first started, it was a theatre open to the elements. Have no fear, the theatre is now enclosed and has air-conditioning throughout the building along with concession stand and restrooms. Inside the theatre audience members will experience new cushioned seats with ample amounts of leg room and new speaker/sound system to ensure the best sound for all. Everyone involved are volunteers of the QC and do their best to give you the best experience possible. Tickets can easily be ordered online or through their volunteer box office. If you have not been to this theatre then I must say you have been missing out like myself. I sat next to an 88 year old widow rancher that had been wanting to attend. She was enjoying the show even more than myself. What a great asset to a wonderful community hear in Illinois and Iowa.

Great venue with super cheap and close parking and a great staff!…read more This was my first experience at this venue and I was not disappointed. The line moved quickly getting people inside shortly after doors opened. They are kind and helpful to those of us with disabilities rewiring ADA options. We choose to sit in the back at this venue had sloped seating. We were able to have a great view of the entire show and sit comfortably. The event we went to was Social Distortion with opening act Plague Vendor. Both bands put on a great show. I have seen Social D venue, but this setlist was way different than the lady time, which was cool. The lines moved quick to get beverages and snacks. The only reason I didn't give this venue 5 stars was because the only food they had was small bags of chips. Their website indicated a much bigger venue with dinner-like options. We purposely didn't eat beforehand thinking we'd be getting food at the show. By far the only downside. The staff let's people go iut front to smoke and come back in without having to buy another ticket, provided you had your hand stamped. The hallways weren't super wide, so leaving was a little busy, but not the artist I've experienced. Bathrooms were available nearby the exits of the concert hall. A great mid-sized venue to see someone without being so far away. Though, I think next time I will go with balcony seats. Seems like the view would be great. Thanks to the staff and everyone for being so nice. Definitely recommend this spot.

It's OK to take in cell phones and some of them take just as good of shots as my camera. I feel I'm being discriminated against. I think someone really needs to rethink this policy of "no professional" cameras allowed. Meaning any camera with a detachable lens. I'm crying FOUL!

We did not see it ahead of time, but there is a super-helpful map on their website noting places you can park near the Spotlight. The theater had a remarkable feel to it. I didn't know that it was in a former Scottish Rite Cathedral, but many of the features have been preserved and add to the character and ambiance. Just of note: the seats were a little uncomfortable by the end due to cramped leg room and needing to sit at an odd angle to see the stage well. We were in Group B which afforded us the wings. Close to the stage but the seats were aimed at the other wall instead of the stage. I wouldn't advocate changing a thing - just something for the ticket buyer to be aware of!

Me and my husband attended "The Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder" and it was a very funny and entertaining musical. I can't recommend this theater enough. For the performance we attended, they had a mobile cash bar and baked good during intermission. The cost was only $20.00 each, so very affordable.
