The cake was everything we wanted, it was adorable AND scrumptious! Being a baker myself, I could tell that high quality ingredients were used. The cake was chocolate with a chocolate ganache filling; it was simply to die for! The cake was very moist, the chocolate was very rich and chocolatey and both the fondant and frosting underneath were mild and sweet, not overly sweet, waxy or greasy. Would absolutely order again, I know my son will, we live out of town (Chicago) so it will be next year before gramma can order another cake! In the posted picture the are a couple of smudges on the frosting, I was clumsy and smudged it, the cake arrived picture perfect!

Everything was super tasty but unfortunately the boozy side was very light tasting which was a bit disappointing. Honestly, I was hard pressed to taste much of any booze on our treats. And we made sure to get things from the boozy side and didn't make a mistake of grabbing from the non-boozy side. Maybe they are supposed to taste like the drink only without the alcohol? Not sure. The treats were still high-quality, decadent, and rich so I'll take only one star off for the light liquor taste. Still a good place to grab dessert.

Every.Single.Day. My absolute fave is the vanilla/vanilla, AKA Pleasantville. That is my favorite flavor and there is something about this vanilla/vanilla that sets it apart from any other I've had (I've had cupcakes on both the east and west coasts and everywhere in between). Sioux Falls, you are spoiled!! I also love the lemon, party animal, red velvet Marilyn and triple chocolate. The fact that you can have full size or mini cupcakes is perfect! Some days I had one and some days I had a sampling of minis! Perfection! Staff is amazing as well! Highly highly recommend!
