In researching this spa, before my initial visit I found the following which was written by the owners: "Lee Therapy in Westville NJ. Take a moment for yourself with our Asian Classic Body rub and Soft touch treatment. A treatment that fits into any busy schedule, revitalize your body, mind, and soul. You'll leave feeling revived, rejuvenated and completely centered. Enjoy Relaxing Soft Touch with Music." Since I like my massages to be vigorous and intense, I wasn't sure about Lee's but I decided to give it a try. It's in the same general area as 41 Therapy another fine establishment, so the next time I visited 41 Therapy I figured I would stop in and see if Lee's should be a spa I put on my to visit list. Once I was in the door, and having received such a warm inviting welcome I decided to stay. I told them I just came from a spa and didn't really need a massage but after a few minutes on the table I realized how wrong I was and how right she was. I definitely needed another massage. She hit all the areas that were missed before. I asked about the exercise in the name of the spa. Do you actually workout here. She explained that the exercises were more along the lines of stretching and after the massage she would do some stretching exercises. She continued the massage until we had about 12 minutes then she started stretching me. It was indeed a good exercise. One that I needed.

My girlfriend & I had massages with Bill about a few years ago that were actually pretty good. So,…read morewe decided to try and see him again about a year ago. We arrived for the appointment and Bill was no where to be found. We knocked on the door for 30 min past our scheduled time & he never answered. We left and he never even called back. He sent an email saying that he accidentally double booked himself. We never went back. Today we decided to give the guy another shot because his massages are actually good, when he shows up. We arrived for our appointment, waited for 20 min past our scheduled time & he never showed.... AGAIN. It's our own fault for trying to give him another shot, but really.., just save yourself the headache, the gas, and the effort. I understand if you're going through hard times, as a lot of us are, but the reason we seek out massages is to help alleviate the crap we're going through. You're running a business and if you can't run it efficiently and professionally you just shouldn't be running it at all. It's a shame because you're truly great at what you do, but you just have to show up and do it. Ghosting clients is literally the worst thing you could do. You never know how far someone is traveling to come see you. It's disheartening that this happened & unfortunately you will not be receiving a THIRD chance from us. See texts below as proof that this actually happened. FYI: our appointment was scheduled for 1:15pm. EDIT: He texted my girlfriend at 10pm to essentially harass her for leaving a review. He also attempted to FaceTime her but maybe that was an accident? Who knows. Apparently posting an honest review of your experience with a business is vindictive. This guy has never apologized by the way, but honestly it's besides the point. You're treating people like their time is worth nothing & it's disgusting. This is SO BIZARRE.

I have gone to Bill in the past and his massages were some of the best I've ever had. The first…read moretime I had an appointment with him was for my birthday & the massage was unmatched. So I took my girlfriend with me to his studio the next time and once again the massages were awesome. This guy was so good I wanted to make this a bi-weekly thing or at least monthly. I'm an athlete so having someone like Bill available is everything. Well the last couple of times I've scheduled with him (he confirms said appointment), he has ghosted me. I get there about 5-10 mins early...I wait outside past my appointment time for 30-40 mins each time...try texting, calling, today I was close to knocking on some doors to get my appointment in. Long story short...zero response. You're probably wondering why I wait so long for him to respond when it's clear he is not going to respond. Well I drive about 25-30mins to get to him and I don't get these massages for pleasure but to relieve a pain I'm currently dealing with. So it's important to me & my livelihood. Hence me getting to my appointment on time & trying as hard as I can to get in contact with him. Needless to say he never answered any of my calls, text messages, or voicemails. I did see that after I sent him a bunch of text messages that he read my texts and just decided to not respond. So I asked him if there was any reason why when I would schedule an appointment with him that he continuously ghosts me. He responding saying he was going through some things and would be willing to reschedule with me for half the cost. The problem here is not that he is going through things at all. The problem is ghosting clients. Ppl that are seeking your help that could make or break their well-being. Why not call and cancel the appointment? Text and cancel? Why make the customer believe they have an appointment and hide from giving said service that was scheduled? I don't get it and it's a terrible way to treat ppl. It's selfish and I will never do business here again. Having a skillset is great, but treating ppl less then what they deserve or are worth is just as low as you can get. Honestly I wish I could give this guy zero stars considering the gas I wasted attempting his service twice & being ghosted ‍
