Working with this law team was equally as bad as dealing with my Ex. they take your money, Elyse will never speak up or talk back to your emails. My family spent over $30,000 in three months, and I got nowhere. The only advancement I had with the judge was once I fired Butler law and went in on my own. I feel Robbed by this "business". Think, "scummy, crime, steal your money lawyers" This is Them! I unfortunately found them. The documents and emails from Sara Doroaorth could have easily been quick written by Chat GPTin seconds, which were substituted for simple call-backs, just to charge more and more money. Fine....if you're winning. But I got my ass handed to me over and over in court with a "lawyer helping women" PUH-lease. My experience was anything but that in the end. The quality was just bad from this law firm. Absolutely no wins in seemingly an easy case, and lost custody of my daughter for 2 years after spending thousands of dollars to have them help me. Judge Leah Hausch did not like this law team, it was obvious. This law firm will hurt you more, in a sensitive situation, and they won't respond. And their responses and "defense" are just Bad. Judge clearly hated them, and gave my lawyer really no time at all. This is one of those instances where if I could give a Zero or negative stars, I would. And to be honest, the person that really upset me the most is Elise Butler, because when I reached out to her about my case, and my lawyer, as the owner of the law firm, I never got a response from her. I honestly don't even know if she exists. She never spoke back, never wrote me back. I think they were embarrassed by how bad they got their ass handed to them in court with my case, that should've been so easy.

Recently, I've been trying to make minor updates to the trust. I reached out multiple times (1/12, 1/16, 1/28, and 1/30) and received little response from the paralegal who handled my file. Despite repeated follow-ups, there has been no communication or guidance on how to proceed. I then escalated the issue (2/4) and contacted the owner of the firm directly -- also with no response. Complete lack of communication from both the paralegal and firm leadership is unacceptable, especially for a straightforward request from an existing client. If timely communication matters to you, this is something to be aware of.

I paid with a card, and requested the funds be refunded to the card. I was then told that to avoid any fees, I should give my zelle or Venmo info for the refund. It felt like on top of fumbling the basic communications, they were compounding the problem by not just promptly refunding my money to the card I paid with. I acquiesced, gave my Venmo account info and then received a refund via Venmo... Minus the processing fee. I'm not sure who is in charge, as Norah was my initial contact and I was then handed over to several other people who didn't follow up either, but no one seems to take responsibility and the lack of attention to detail is not a trait I would look for in my paralegal services.
