First let me say, the staff is extremely friendly and the place is gorgeous, with plush booths and TVs at every table. The food was honestly meh though. Was it bad? No. Was it great or even good no? It was just ok. I got a steak bowl with queso, peppers and onions, pinto beans, brown rice, jalapeno and chipotle mayo and honestly I didn't find it to be that flavorful. It wasn't a quality issue for me as much as I think it's just the recipies and seasonings they use. If I give Moes an 8, Chipotle a 5 or 6, I'd give Qdoba a 3 or 4 for flavor. Ambiance and customer service, this place again is easily a 9 or a 10 and the same. goes for atmosphere. Chipotle is a 3 or 4 for customer service and ambiance btw. Pricing was on the higher side aprox $20 bucks for the bowl, chips/salsa and a soda. My opinions are purely subjective so try it for yourself and tell me what you think! read more

First and foremost ownership is almost always there , staff is always helpful and nice and the quality and freshness of the food is better than other locations. Most consistent restaurant Ive been sinced they opened. Very sweet staff, they know their regulars and have patience. Be kind and they are kind back. The food is always fresh here. I ordered from QDOBA and picked up food to eat at my friend's house. I got the vegan bowl. I liked it, I prefer local Mexican places to eat but out of the 3 chains I've been to Chitpotle, QDOBA and Moe's I'd have to say QDOBA and Chitpotle are the two I'd rather eat at and QDOBA would be my number one choice. To be honest these kind of chain restaurants are all the same. QDOBA is a cross between local competitor Moe's and Chipotle. The food is a few steps up in freshness from Taco Bell and you " make it your way" for $5 more in price. $9.00 gets you far here to curb hunger for the day. When I arrived I was greeted by the sales manager who informed me about the several menu options and up charge if you'd like brisket or fancy pork. They also introduced the new Impossible product to the menu which is said to be cooked in organic oils. I decided to play it safe and ordered the adobo chicken burrito bowl. Pinto beans and the works. After adding my toppings (veggies, guacamole,brown rice and cheese, queso, pico, lime ,lettuce) in the taste department, I was not satisfied. The adobo chicken was just that. Not well marinated. Not flavorful. Bland. Lifeless. Maybe I should've splurged $3 more for the pork ? I think not. They have great service and friendly staff here and the patio seating is an upgrade but when you've had real Mexican food you're tastebuds become sophisticated and you can't ever settle again for mediocre food and high prices. For less than $10 I can have a real flavorful Mexican meal at a local Mom and Pop's restaurant a town over. read more

There are a lot of good things at this restaurant. Some of the staff is friendly, the food generally tastes good and the prices are reasonable. I lobbied hard for this location. The chain in general has been good. But things are slipping as of late. First of all everything is absolutely too salty. A tortilla soup it's like putting salt water in your mouth. Second, some of the staff is getting very shaky. Attached you will see a quesadilla someone made me. First of all the presentation is horrible. All the quesadilla pieces were stacked upon each other. Then, if you notice, the top of the quesadilla was separated from the bottom. Not too appealing. Hopefully management will read this and show my quesadilla to the staff. Do better guys. read more

Had to stop by and try this place because it's central to so many things in my life. I ordered a shrimp bowl with guac and lettuce and I really enjoyed it. I like it way more than chipotle. What I didn't enjoy were the chips. Idk, they had a weird taste in my opinion and were a bit salty. Overall I enjoyed it here and I'll be back. While here the manager came over and asked our opinion on the food, which was really nice. I would recommend So I ordered catering for 70 people for a youth Christmas party at church. Qfinally! No that's not a typo. It's just my excitement for getting to visit Qdoba after I failed to make it here several times before (all my fault). Every instance I wanted to come, something stopped me, but fourth times a charm...right? Anyway, this random Sunday night dinner with mi madre resulted in a respectable meal worth returning for. Read on! Okay, maybe I got a little too excited there. I mean Qdoba is a chain and it's not a place that has the most amazing Mexican food. But honestly, it's better than a handful of other nearby spots (sorry, Avo Taco) and it showed for a few reasons. Reason uno: the style and setup of the place is semi comfy/cozy/contemporary. I like booth seating as it gives a little more seclusion between your party and other peering eyes. A few regular tables, high tops, and the drink prep station (complete with Coke freestyle machine) all lays out nicely for this not-so-big space. Reason dos: the service was pretty awesome. Well, at least the manager who helped my mother in choosing her grub and toppings while also coming by the tables and checking in on our meals. Not too shabby for a fast-ish food spot! Reason tres: the food of course! For starters, the choices are great in letting you select between tacos, quesadillas, burritos, salads, bowls, and a few more intriguing options. Pick your meat (the basics of most Tex-Mex spots) and then load it up with toppings. I went for a bowl of adobo chicken, fajita veggies, tortilla strips, pico, jalapeños, cilantro, and queso diablo. There was definitely some good taste from the chicken and those veggies had that fajita flavor, though I'm not sure where the heat was in the queso diablo. My mother got a quesadilla with ground beef which looked and tasted pretty great, although it totally fell apart as soon as a piece was picked up. Nevertheless, everything came together for a quality dinner, along with a decent side of chips and salsa. Overall, Qdoba is right in the mix of quick-Mex meals worth dining on. They've got a good thing going for them in style, service, and grub. Yeah, it's not gonna blow your tastebuds away, but it'll do more than suffice. So if you haven't given them a chance, get over there and you can add "Q" to the front of words like me...or just enjoy some food, that works too. read more

The establishment is always clean. As always the staff are very courteous and friendly. Their entrees are very tasty and they been having some special bowls ( new variety). I've been here twice in the last two months. The food is good but both times, I feel so rushed. I get online and the servers are moving so fast and slapping the food in the bowl without any care.....ready for the next customer. I couldn't even tell them what else I wanted in my bowls (I ordered two to go) One was covered and at the register before I even finished. They had to open it back up to add the sour cream. I asked them to please slow down so I could finish......... I believe two managers came over to try and help but this happened both times I went there. Its bad customer service and when you say something, the servers have an attitude. I probably won't go back. read more

Trudging here during the snowy blizzard (Nor'easter #4), I was thrilled to see Qdoba open, and business was booming. I could understand why. The restaurant is gleaming with cute little TV screens at the tables. We had a very short wait before a friendly employee began to take my order. There are lots of options to choose from and everything is included. included (even the guacamole!) We ordered the fire grilled shrimp burrito and the Adobe grilled Chicken bowl. All of the ingredients were fresh, tasty, and blended together deliciously. You can choose the different salsas based on your desire of spicy heat. The prices were reasonable for the amount of food and the items were packaged well for take out. Looking forward to going back for more. read more

Fan-say! All these places have the same process, choose your toppings at the assembly line but there's a twist with Qdoba. There's no upcharge for guacamole! I feel like I liberated France, power to the people! First time here at the grand opening, I ordered the Fire-Roasted Shrimp and Guac Burrito. Picture a warm flour tortilla. Then zesty fire roasted shrimp with some crazy cilantro lime rice, black beans and all the freshly made guacamole I want. Oh baby.. The servers, I understand everyone is new. I asked for the burrito special and the didn't know what the heck was happening. I read it off, the kitchen seems a little slammed but the end result was one Fire Roasted Shrimp stuffed burrito. I asked for a beer. No such thing in Qdoba. Sweet iced tea it is! I'm sitting in a booth, with News 12 playing on a TV? Prices are typical but for what your getting, why go anywhere else? The food quality is top notch. you can tell it's fresh and done right. I've been eating here since they opened and always had a pleasant experience. Move over moes and Chipotle theres a new spot in town. This new mexican fast food/take out spot is great and surpasses the compitition. All the meals are fresh, in expensive, and quantity packed. This was my first trip their and i was very impressed. I got the buritto bowl with brown rice, steak, fire shrimp, quac, and queso diablo. The rice and quac were very fresh and flavorful, shrimp was spicy but good and the steak was cooked medium which was perfect. The queso diablo added a nice mild spice to the dish. Dish was great and there's no additional charges for quac or queso which is awesome. I Also got a side of chips and the 3 cheese queso which was also very good. I have always been a fan of Chipotle... until I had QDOBA! QDOBA blows chipotle out of the water. I don't even know what it is about it but it seems fresher. I get a burrito bowl with brown rice, adobo grilled chicken, shredded lettuce, sour cream, pickled jalapeños (I'm obsessed with all things jalapeño, an option not available at chipotle), cheese, pico de gallo, and sometimes bacon! Yes that's right, bacon! The rice and chicken are delicious and the jalapeños are the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. I also tried the chips and queso which also beat chipotles. The other thing I say every time I have had QDOBA is that they put the perfect amount of each ingredient in the bowl. Never too much sour cream or pico etc like other places. Always perfect. My usual Qdoba location is the one in fresh meadows, when I heard they added one to Long Island I was stoked! I have been looking forward to going here and let me say it did not disappoint! At Qdoba it's true the extras are free. I ordered a quesadilla with white rice, steak, red onions, pico de gallo and of course cheese, on a whole wheat tortilla. With that, they asked if I wanted guacamole and sour cream. I chose only guac. When it was time to pay they asked if I wanted anything else. I got a side of salsa, pico de gallo, and guac again. I thought they would charge me for at least the extra guacamole but nope! My steak quesadilla came out to $9 and change without a drink. That's reasonable to me for "fast food" Mexican. I had guacamole on the side of my quesadilla in the tray and a small container with guacamole as well, no extra cost! That's one of the things I love most about Qdoba. My quesadilla tasted great!! The food quality here is high. The best thing is that they actually melt your quesadilla!! The cheese is oozy and delicious. They have green Tabasco sauce and Cholula hot sauce available. I also loved the interior. They have high tables, booths, and even tvs in some of the booths. This is very modern looking restaurant. Definitely a nice hangout spot. My sister got the brisket in her quesadilla after asking to try a small a sample. They had no problem, which was nice. :) I tried some too it was pretty good, but I personally like the steak more. We also got chips on the side which I found to not be so wonderful. To me they were bland. There is one of the large soda machines with a touch screen and multiple flavors here. After your meal here you will be full! I love Qdoba and I am happy this location is succeeding. Try putting rice in your quesadilla, it makes it even better! read more

Have been here for the second time and just as good as the first. I had the Taco Salad with lettuce, Grilled Adobo Chicken, seasoned black bean corn salsa, Cilantro Rice, fat-free Picante Ranch Dressing, several sauces and additional flavors such as cheese, sour cream and Tortilla Strips in an edible bowl. All included at no extra cost. The first time I had the Ground Beef. There are many options to choose from. Both visits were great, the counter service was also great, they prepare your food as you walk down the counter. Everyone was efficient and polite. You pay at the end, drinks are pour your own, free refills. They even have an app to either pay with or just build up your points for free items or both. It's helpful to go through the app before ordering so you can get a better understanding of all the options since there are many variations. Once you have decided what you want you can order from the app also. Haven't used that feature yet but I'm assuming they will have your order ready when you arrive. It's an new edition to the area so it's a modern clean décor. Since I work nearby it's nice to go and have lunch or just take out. I will be back. read more

I came here to try it out since I was in the mood for Mexican food. I am used to going to chipotle but this is by far so much better. My boyfriend and I built our own bowls adding a ton of stuff and it all came out amazing. My boyfriend had the brisket which was so flavorful and I had pulled pork which was great. We had guac and queso on our order and all the sauces tasted amazing. We even ordered a side of Chico's with salsa for an extra crunch. Really impressed with the atmosphere and friendly staff. There are booths to sit down and watch tv along with a staff member who stopped by to check in on us to make sure if everything is ok. It tasted so good we had to get it again the very next day. I was in the area with colleagues and we decided to stop here for lunch. I had been to a QDOBA once before in Yonkers and wasn't too impressed, but I wasn't totally turned off by it so I was looking forward to giving the chain another shot. QDOBA is very similar to Chipotle in terms of the food they serve and the whole process of making your order. One exception is that QDOBA doesn't charge extra for certain toppings - and they make sure to let you know that. We arrived during lunch time so there was a little line but nothing too crazy. I decided to get a burrito bowl with brown rice, black beans, chicken, salsa, pico de gallo, and a little shredded cheese. The bowl was pretty good - but what really earned QDOBA a fourth star from me was the service. The line moved fast and everyone I was served by was super friendly and efficient. They even had a staff member walking around the restaurant cleaning and collecting finished plates - for a fastish food restaurant I was impressed. Overall I was pleasantly surprised by QDOBA; my experience definitely made me think twice about this chain - in a good way ;-) read more

Perfect quick Mexican place! My sister and I were on our way to Sonic when we passed this location and decided to test our luck. We're glad we did. The staff was super helpful and the food was really good. It's your basic assembly line Mexican place but it was very clean and reasonably priced. The manager behind the counter even asked if we were students because students get free fountain drinks! Unfortunately we are no longer students, but it was nice of him to ask. They have a quick pick up station for take out orders and they have the Coke fountain with the zillion options, you know the one, as well as ample seating and parking. Well totally be back. IMO Qdoba has always been way better than Chipotle. I remember when there was ONLY Qdoba...Then Chipotle came around and almost every Qdoba location shut its doors (except Fresh Meadows!). I am happy to see Qdoba is back and better than ever. This location screams NEW (in a good way). Very clean, managers walking around and answering any questions you may have, super pleasant staff. I've always loved the assembly line ordering process here. Pick your dish (I went with a quesadilla), pick your protein, rice, beans, salsa, cheese, etc. Pay and pick it up at the end! My quesadilla was delicious and super fresh, which is something I cannot say about their competitor. Pretty much every seat has an outlet, which is good if you need to charge your phone while you eat. They offer both bottled and fountain drinks. I'm unsure if guac costs more but it probably does since avocado is expensive. A small outdoor seating area for the warmer months (although your only "view" is the ever busy Hempstead Turnpike). It's great to have Qdoba back on Long Island! read more

As with the plentiful nearby competition, Taco Joe's and chipotle, this place is large, well lit and clean, with nice fresh food offerings. Being new, the customers are flocking to check it out, and the staff is frenetically trying to keep the lines short and push people along as fast as they can. But my advice to management and staff: RELAX! Calm down folks because you're making the customers as nervous as Seinfeld's Soup Nazi. When something is new it takes a moment, a little patient reassurance would even be welcome for all of us who are coming to get a first feel for the experience. If you claim to be different from those others that I mentioned, then act like it and show us that QDOBA is here to make us feel at home and then feed us good.
