So, Ive been calling to make appointments to price out what this will cost. Every company I have talked to has been well represented by whomever answers the phone. A very rough voice, kinda what you would here if you didnt want to answer the phone, answers the phone. Its a woman on the other end. I can hear in her voice that she has probably had a tough day. However, Im a potential new client... I ask to make an appointment to get a quote. "Since you're an HOA, we charge a consultation fee. Thats how we handle it.". I say "Well then, I am not interested." and hang up the phone. Let me give you some advice... If you have a potential new client on the phone and the first thing you start with is fee this or fee that... You are not going to get that client. You have no idea the work we want done here or the amount of projects you could have received. In your line of work, if you're good at what you do or charge the amount that is consistent with going rates, you wouldn't need to charge HOAs consultation fees. If I was random Joe Shmow, I wouldn't have been charged is what that tells me. So instead of coming out to show your work or what you could have done to gain more work, you were a bit rude and started with fees. You just lost some business.

We ended up having to have another service come out to get the job done since we were now 2 days behind, they did the job correctly, trees gone, land cleared, tree's mulched. I should have known when they didn't/wouldn't send any pics! I offered to pay 1/2 since barely 1/2 the work was done in everyone's opinion.
