Let me be the 250th review of NetSol and what it means to the US. Firstly * Network Solutions is…read morethe first Domain Registrar, quite a big deal. Emmit McHenry an engineer won a National Science Foundation contract in 1991 to manage domain name registrations for .com, .net and .org tlds. Ty Grigsby, Gary Desler, and Ed Peters were his tech partners which initially back in 1979.working on programming with IBM before going into setting up Domain Name structure. The company has been sold a few times and now sadly is part of a massive consolidation of all huge digital titans like the big hosting company Hostgator etc. As a result soooo many US and other nations business are run with their domains and website hosting accounts under this new ownership by a Jacksonville Florida company called Newfold Digital. You can only get a person overseas who invariable when something needs an escalation cannot get a live person that can do anything. Honestly it is so serious and puts sooo many US and other businesses at risk. Imagine a top company needing a problem solved for their primary businesses website and not being able to resolve it? That is what has occurred not once but twice in my experience. With the Hostgator acquistio, had an overseas salesperson try to shake us down for over 2k on the Hostator back up needed which used to be part of customer service.. Then the Netsol 29 years ago, registered domain of a not for profit of which I am a member needed a reset password after an employee reset the password and failed to return it, they literally took forever ignoring a NYS Supreme Court order and were blatantly non compliant. They wasted days saying the same claim that it would be done in 24 hours, repeatedly day after day. I think because they may have ONE legal person and the desk is piled up. Metaphorically. Likely ten thousand emails for one actual attorney to read. No idea but that would be my guess with how they cannot respond to a NYS Supreme Court demand with a deadline which they missed and keep missing. Imagine being just a person with no lawyer or court ruling? Forget about it! Quite simply they are greed mongers buying up all US digital assets and firing real qualified staff to save money and leaving all US Businesses that entrusted Netsol, Hostgaor and other top digital companies customers at great risk. They should be broker up due to the way they have put US businesses at risk and are not capable of managing what they wrestled into a large conglomerate of digital assets. I made a complaint to both the Florida AG and to ICANN the actual boss of all the registrars for them not being compliant. They are semi regulated by both.. IF this happens to you... please do the same until they have to improve or something gets done. Good luck if left on hold for weeks and nothing done as asked. This is a total disaster of consolidation.

I would NOT recommend Network Solutions until they correct their shady billing policies and…read morehorrible customer service. Network Solutions' policy is to automatically add charges to your bill you did not ask for. If you do not notice in the next 30 days, they will not refund the overcharge. Network Solutions' policy is basically: "WE WILL OVERCHARGE YOU UNLESS YOU STOP US IN 30 DAYS." Last year, Network Solutions tried to sneak 10 extra emails onto my account. When I caught it, they still snuck an extra one on my account I did not want or ask for. They didn't offer it to me - they just stuck it on in secret hoping I would not notice the extra charge. I didn't catch it and now they won't even deduct the overcharge from my renewal. It took just over 3 hours to get them to offer a 10% discount. When I persisted, they eventually offered me 15% off the price they just jacked up. As soon as that conversation ended, another agent jumped in offering me 20% off part of it, but he quoted me the full price, until I pointed that out. Then he redid the math. Oh, and their agents can't actually do much. I have to call back and do it "manually" to get the discount some of them tell me I'll get. After over 4 hours, the only thing they did was deduct the bogus charge - allegedly. The second agent told me it was deducted but it was still there when the third agent contacted me. Network Solutions agents are terribly trained. Two of them had to be asked 4 or 5 times for the total bill before they would give it to me. They kept giving me partial totals whenever they bothered to reply. They will not focus on you. They keep wandering off. You have to repeat everything. Dealing with Network Solutions used to be a pleasure. Now it is a complete nightmare that seems to be designed to infuriate and alienate longtime customers. NETWORK SOLUTIONS TRIES TO BE SLIMY. I wish I could give Network Solutions a negative number of stars. ALL their 3 and 4- star reviews are from 2011. After that, it's all bad reviews. It looks like they have zero interest in addressing customer concerns.

The pop up had the number to call in order to fix the virus issue. She called the number and they said the only they can only help for $399.00. This was for 6 month protection and lifetime support. Which is extremely OVERPRICED!!! They then offered the same plan to us for only $299.00. They basically bullied my mother into purchasing this saying that the only hope for her computer was through their virus protection. She provided her credit card information and they charged the $299 plus the continued to charge her for $99/month for support!!!!! That was supposed to be included. Not to mention even after we paid their exorbitant fees the computer is still infected and not usable. The computer is not even a year old. I called them back and they refuse to help us. They said the computer is fixed. Long story short...they infect your computer then charge you to remove the virus. Which they do not remove. They simply enter your computer, steal your information and leave you with a hefty bill and unusable computer. What a bunch of scammers. Everyone I talked to there was very rude and pushy. Turns out, they were a much better fit for our company than simply just for graphic design! CBD is a small company out of Sterling. But they aren't so small like a freelance graphic designer with no accountability who just disappears on you (yep that's happened to us!). They aren't so big that it takes 2 weeks to get a quote (yep, that's happened to us!). For our small business, they have been a great fit. The longest it took to get a quote which was our first experience with them involving multiple pieces was 2 days. Quite reasonable. Now that we've been working with them and just need one-offs, I usually get pricing that day or the next. The nice thing about them is that we came in with a brochure done by another designer and asked them to emulate it for the 2 other brochures we needed. And they did. We've given them other pieces where we've had a concept and asked them to stay with our concept...and they did! Whether or not they agreed with our direction they never said anything to us. It was so nice not to have to fight a designer with what we wanted. However, I will say, they did point out an improvement to the way we were using our trademark and we made the change based on their direction. Their graphic design work is quick too - we usually got edits back within a day. Here's a bonus tidbit to know if you need print work: Their printing costs are quite cheap and they work with local printers and know which ones excel at certain things for the best price. So, our folders were sent one place, brochures another...it varies based on which printer does the best/most reasonable work. However, if you have a printer you like to use, they will send it to whomever you like. They are local to our company so we can just pick up our projects when they are ready. Their offices are not wheelchair accessible, but they do have a fulfillment area and a tiny lobby (no receptionist) on the main floor if you need to stop by and pick up your stuff if you can't make it up the stairs. I didn't give them 5 stars yet because we haven't given them any work to just run with to see how their graphic design from a blank slate is (we've always had a concept). Oh, and one more thing...when you get your bill, its itemized so you see exactly how many hours and what was done for your project. Ours came in cheaper than our original quote - score!
