I love Beirut. It has quickly became one of my favorite local spots…read more It's great for both sit-down and takeout. Their online ordering system is super easy to use, and ordering in person is just as smooth. The menu has such a good variety, everything from fresh salads to wraps and kebab plates. Honestly, everything I've tried has been so good. The garlic sauce is a must, it's incredible. My go-to is the shawarma unwrapped because you get a huge portion and can build it exactly how you want. The food is fantastic and the portions are very generous. The space is clean with plenty of seating, and the staff is amazing. They're so friendly and always make sure you have everything you need.

Ambiance was ok - more of a diner style. Very casual. High chairs available, which was a plus for us. I got the gyro wrap and my husband got the Lebanese wrap ( not pictured). The gyro wrap was pretty good, and I loved the garlic sauce that it came with. However, the fries they came with were a bit on the soggier side - not crispy and not too much flavor. The Lebanese wrap had good flavor but it was smaller than my husband and I were expecting. It was probably half the size of my gyro wrap since it was thinner. My kids liked the grilled chicken place and rice that they had. The chicken had great flavor. The portions overall though are on the smaller side, especially when compared to restaurants in Minneapolis or St. Paul. Food was pretty good, but nothing out of the ordinary. I liked it overall though and thought it was a fun and different option to try in the south suburbs.

Very disappointing experience…read more I ordered two chicken shawarmas through DoorDash about 15 minutes before arriving and received confirmation that the restaurant had accepted my order. When I arrived, the place was completely empty and the employee was not busy at all. He had not even started my order. I clearly told him my name was Alex and that I was there to pick up my DoorDash order. He checked his phone and told me it would take another 6-7 minutes, but I ended up waiting about 15 more minutes. What concerned me even more was the food preparation. I watched the employee take prepared meat out of the refrigerator and handle and pull it apart with his bare hands. The whole process looked very unsanitary. When my food was finally handed to me, I opened it immediately and discovered that it was not my order at all. Instead of two chicken shawarmas, I received plates of rice and meat. The employee then told me he thought I was a different customer, even though I had already clearly given him my name. After approximately 30 minutes of waiting, my actual order still had not been prepared. I asked to cancel because I did not have another 15 minutes to wait, but he refused and tried to convince me that the incorrect food was "similar" to what I ordered. Extremely slow, careless service and very concerning food-handling practices. I would not return.

The employee serving us refused to accept card payments and acted very sketchy about the whole situation. The restaurant itself was filthy it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. The food prep and service areas were completely unsanitary. To make matters worse, the employee never changed gloves and was also handling food with bare hands. The food was being pulled from random buckets and foil containers, which made everything feel extremely unsafe. We ended up throwing our food away and leaving. Completely disgusting experience.

This is a Greek/Mediterranean takeout place with a decent amount of seating and some appropriate grocery items. Really nice people working here. I got the Mediterranean Platter which was full of very perfectly-cooked meats and rice, salad with very fresh veggies, a Greek dressing ant tzatziki. The latter two were EXCELLENT, really creamy tzatziki and really flavorful Greek vinaigrette. A lot of food. Not cheap, but I'd say normally-priced. I've also gotten their house-made Dubai Chocolate. It is the best Dubai Chocolate I've ever had. BUT! Get the stuff from the case that they make, not the packaged bars on the counter. The latter is mediocre, but the stuff they make, the stuff in the case, you guys. YOU GUYS. That is why this is a five-star review.

I honestly barely noticed because the smell of yummy foods hit me as soon as I got inside. I think they do most of their business as take-out or pick up, but we actually took advantage of the small dining area attached. The service is nothing fancy- order at the counter and they'll bring it to you. But ya'll- the food! It was really some of the best Mediterranean food I have had since moving to the cities. That hummus -as the kids say- SLAPS! It had a little spicy topping on it and they served it with warm pita breads. I ordered a gyros platter and it came with enough rice to feed a crowd! Even the salad was delicious. I told my husband right away- this is 5 stars.
