I went in to fix a leaking tire. It was end of the day and the shop was almost closed, but they took me in anyway. I knew where the tire was leaking and I told the owner, he verified and said that there was nothing there. I insisted until he finally saw the leak and impatiently said "step back, sir, let me do my work, I have some experience with tires" (irony detected). I was baffled, but ok, I stepped outside. Then he shouted from the shop "I hope you have cash on you, because debit is out". I hadn't and offered him the option to get some from a nearby ATM and his answer was "make it fast!". Well, got the money, tire is fixed, problem solved. If you want to take your car there, be aware of the owner with rough edges and "some experience with tires". Otherwise, there are other options on the same street (Niagara Battery and Tire, Midas Auto repair) that I will explore in the future. read more

I took my partners vehicle in to Q-Tires for a tire replacement and alignment. While driving the vehicle the following weekend the front end began to vibrate viscously and almost took us off the road. It was determined that the lug nuts for both front tires were loose; the front left specifically was 'hand loose'. Upon going back to Q-Tires to discuss this issue; it was first blamed on the two mechanics (which at the time of this review no longer work there (less than 4 day turn over rate?)), another mechanic then came out and used a torque wrench to tighten the lug nuts. Speaking with Qaiser Bhatti (the owner) he was slow to take responsibility and questioned the situations validity - he then discussed the validity with his lead mechanic, who assured him it could be an issue, the lead mechanic then took it for a test drive and determined it was fine to be driven away. Qaiser continued eluding to that fact that this could of been as a result of another issue with the vehicle - although this had never happened before, and clearly happened as a result of the work they performed - continuing to minimize the situation and avoid responsibility. Qaiser was asked if he felt this situation was resolved and was okay with parting ways - and he agreed. We were forced off the road, at risk of a very serious car accident, delayed on our arrival, stressed out, and lost our time and gas ($2.19 per litre as of writing this) having to drive back and forth to Q-Tires to resolve this situation. Qaiser Bhatti offered nothing more as a remedy. If you want to compromise your vehicle and then endanger the lives of your family while driving it - this is definitely the place for you. I would not bring my vehicle here ever again, nor would I do any business with Qaiser Bhatti ever again, in any form. read more

Out of all the places I received quotes from, this place was by far the most reasonable. The people who work their are incredibly nice and friendly. But the cons much outweigh the pros. Good luck getting in to have your car serviced. If you dont call in early or withing a certain time then your call will not be returned. In fact they turn off their phone hours before close so if you get their voicemail then that means that there is no way in hell your getting your car into the shop. Customer service depends on who you get. I called 3 times and got two different people, while they are always polite the one told me he would call me back in 5 minuets and then hung up on me without even taking my phone number (I waited an hour before i called again). I went into the shop to get a full set of winter tires. The tires retail at $191.45 each. The price i was given was $936.77 (this was after tax). Honestly compared to other prices for the same tire theirs was by far the best. I am a student. My parents offered to pay for winter tires because there is no way i could ever afford them. Once they finished changing my tires they threw out my summer tires, which i made them get back (I only got 3/4 of my tires back) and now have to pay out of pocket to replace the "broken tire". (I know there was nothing wrong with this tire because I had checked the psi beforehand and they were all uniform) I am extremely unhappy with the service and would warn anyone who thinks it is a good idea to go here against that. read more

DONT EVER GO HERE!!!! Completely full of false promises, do not believe a word from either the secretary or the owner. Worse customer service and after care I've dealt with. I bought 4 brand new tires and wheel alignment and the owner was great and happy. Told me he would fix road hazard flats and free tire rotations. I came back a month later because of a flat, grudgingly after talking to him he repaired it with a plug, along with the feeling I was bothering him. I go back a few months later for a tire rotation, again given a hard time by his secretary, she said there was no record of me buying tires here, he agreed with her and I had to find the receipt. I did return later with a receipt, she said now it's good, she put it in her new system. Tire rotation completed eventually. I returned a year later with a flat in the same tire, owner told me the original plug is leaking, said it's $20 to fix, said not covered after a year. Owner shows me a new receipt with that restriction. My receipt does not say it whatsoever. Secretary had no record of a purchase again. Giving me a hard time again, after tire fixed, was charged $33 because it was a tougher fix. Waste of an hour. Terrible service. Never going back there again, rather go to a professional place. read more

Great staff, but the prices have gone up a little lately. They have saved my tires a few times.
