We went there three times, tried soups, Älplermagroni and Hörnli with minced meat sauce (both local pasta dishes) as well as raclette (molten cheese). It's located in a good spot for hikers, as it's in between the town of Riederalp and many hiking trails to scenic points. I had the alpine roesti, which was a hearty dish of fried potato, bacon, and egg. The ingredients were high quality and it wasn't too oily despite the heavy ingredients. It was a bit on the salty side, but overall a good dish. Most of the menu skews to the hearty/mountain variety. There's only Feldschlösschen on tap, which is not the best, though there are more choices in bottles. Prices are reasonable considering the remote location. Service was friendly and efficient.
