I found this place through Groupon. As I walked in I was greeted by a super nice lady. The salon is very cozy, kind of outdated I would say. The best part of my facial was the "pressure" massage on my head. The facial is probably least painful facial I have ever had. And I know why, she barely touched the blackheads (I mean I don't think she even squeezed them). They all are super sweet but I wasn't satisfied with my facial. I had an amazing facial yesterday with Silvia. Microdermabrasion with extractions, mask, and all the extra pampering, including massage of arms and neck. The place was clean, and there was an eucalyptus smell along with soft music on the background that just elevated me to a truly resting state. I bought the deal of $107 for 3 sessions. There is also Groupon for $45 right now. There is plenty of free parking spots right in front of Q-Spa. I noticed they also have full nail and hair service. I came 10 mins early and filled out a form pertaining to my skin. 10 mins after they took me to the back and my room was ready and inviting. Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable! I made an appointment 2 weeks ago. I confirmed the address, and chose the location because I live down the street. I go there, and it is closed. I call the SAME number I called to make the appointment and was told I had no appointment. Then I get a call from apparently a different spa with the same name telling me I am late. The lady who called refused to take responsibility for the "mix up" and canceled my appointment. Of course I was angry because I confirmed the address when I made the appointmen. She tried to tell me there is another spa with the same name and it was all my fault! After I hung up, she called me back and rudely said, "Look lady!" All she talked about on the phone was how she didn't want me to leave a review. The rudeness and unprofessionalism was outrageous! I really want to give 5 stars, but I'm just a little disappointed, but let me explain. Let me first say though, everyone in the salon was very very nice, the lady that greeted me, the lady that did my pedicure, all very nice, they offered me tea, made me very comfortable. The actual nail polish pedicure was perfect, she did an excellent job with application, pretty perfect. ( that's the 4 stars) I'll post a pic. Where I'm disappointed though is thinking that this was a spa, i thought it would be more than just a nail polish application, I was a little confused, every pedicure I've ever received in my life (I'm 32) they put your feet in hot water to soak, they did not do that here...I was truly sadden by this to be honest (I'm a nurse who is also 39 weeks pregnant and still working, so my feet are KILLING me, I'm on them for hours of the day) I really really wanted to relax and have a nice soak in hot water and have a nice massage of the feet and legs (which usually always happens) they did a quick foot only massage that was like 20 seconds on each foot (still felt great because I'll take anything at this point). The couches was big and comfy but also wishing they had the massage chairs. Other things involved in the pedicure was callous treatment, and after the quick massage they wrap your feet in a warm towel and wrap a bag around your foot. Total time of the entire pedicure was about 35 minutes. I felt bad and obviously didn't want to leave but also felt like I was missing out on the entire pedicure experience. I initially picked this place because I noticed on their website that they didn't offer acrylic nails and being pregnant Im very sensitive to smells and thought this would be perfect. So overall was okay, I probably wouldn't go back for pedicure but maybe their other services, they offer great rates for facials on Wednesday and offer other services I would try in the future read more
