Then the manager cuts my nails down when I told him not to and he makes them gel nails and ruins my natural nails. And then the attendant that did my pedicure cut me several time and cut my toenails uneven. Charged me $90 for what I didn't want. Then ran a scam saying they couldnt put the $20 tip on my credit card. Which I found out not to be true by another client. They just do that so they don't have to account for it at tax time. Trying to see if my bank can file a dispute or at least get my tip back. My nails looks awful for my black tie event! Never use this nail shop. I have many testimonies from former clients that say the same thing. Wish I had asked before going there. read more

I went in for a manicure and a pedicure. Steven, the manager, was who did my pedicure. He was 100% disinterested in doing anything at all. He soaked my feet in lukewarm water for 10 minutes, barely scrubbed my heel and one toe with the pumice stone. Two swipes on each foot. Then he told me that I did not have any calluses and how lucky I was. I absolutely have calluses on my feet because I touch them constantly which is why I try to get a pedicure when they are bad. They are really bad. He didn't even use the scraper, just the little purple scrub brick. When it was time to "massage" my legs he just kept rubbing circles on my left ankle while he scrolled his phone with his other hand. He wasn't even looking at my legs or my feet. He just used one hand to awkwardly touch my leg and foot while he looked at whatever he was looking at on his phone. It was the absolute worst pedicure I have ever had in my life. I don't the chance to get pedicures as often as I would like so when I do go, it is really disappointing when it's terrible. Please do not go to this place, it is a waste of money and time. Maybe someone else would do a better job but I assumed the manager would be one of the best. The woman who did my manicure was nice. I have only had 3 manicures in my whole life so I didn't have much to compare it to. Update; The photo is my gel manicure after less than a week. I haven't had many manicures, but I have had plenty of gel pedicures, and I know that they absolutely are supposed to last more than six days. Don't go here, terrible dip. My pedicure was great, however my manicure was horrible. First I had to ask to use a clean towel. During the process I asked to fix things and he would not fix it and argued with me, got nail polish all over me every time he dipped in the bottle it dripped across my hands, very uneven base polish application so that when he filed down the color was uneven, had to ask him to fix a chunk of dip that he filed down too far and ignored. read more

I've been to this place several times. Sometimes i get someone good, most of the time I don't. Unfortunately, this most recent time was my last straw. My pedicure was the 2nd worst I've ever had, and I paid for the VIP pedi. The guy who looked like he couldn't have been more than 16 yo was just lazy. When i asked for a base color with glitter, he said, "we don't have that", he never gave me a callous treatment, which is the whole reason I went, a feather could have massaged me better and when he got polish on top of my toe he used a nail buffer on my skin! I got a different guy for my mani and dip, and that wasn't any better! He trimmed my cuticles, but that was it. When he applied my tips, they were not uniform in length. He put so many layers of dip powder on that I have no idea how the next person is going to get it all off, and they look fat and unnatural. He did not file the underside, so they snagged on my clothes, and I had to file them when I got home. Lastly, he never asked me to wash my hands, so when he applied lotion, it was grainy mixed in with the powder on me. He didn't even attempt to rub the lotion in, he just ran over my arms once or twice and wiped it off with a towel. I was so angry I paid and left. I am an excellent tipper, even when they aren't that great, but I left and gave them nothing. I will not be going back. read more

I've been here a few times, they are always kind and get me in no matter how busy they are. This last time I tried dip nails for the first time with a Anna and they are the most unique and amazing nails I've ever had. The prices are fair, some have said they are high but I think it's on point for what it is now. My only small complaint, and they do have a disclaimer for it, is for regular polish I am three for three with the color not matching the book. The last time I picked a very very dark forest green for my toes and it's definitely closer to olive. I said it looked wrong when they brought the bottle over and they said it would be darker once they painted it and it wasn't. But it wasn't a big deal for me. Just know to watch for that. read more

Definitely do NOT recommend. They're scammers and not thorough. I received a manicure and pedicure for the first time here. The young guy didn't clean out under my nails for either services; neither did he trim cuticles. Initially, the guy started asking me questions with a thick accent and spoke very fast. I asked him to repeat himself and told him that I didn't understand him. He suddenly spoke CLEAR English. My friend was with another male technician who also had an accent. She ended paying for more services than she knew she was agreeing to. I have heard of salons faking accents to confuse clients and to have them agree to additional services with this strategy. Well, it's real. And they do it here. I was done with my services well before my friend, who was receiving the same services. It turns out my guy wasn't doing everything and he was rushing to go smoke outside. Don't recommend and won't be returning. read more

Decide to stop by and try this new place that opened here in Martinsburg by Firehouse Subs. The place is very clean and well kept. I did not have to wait when I walked in this evening, I was able to get a nail technician named Ava. She was super nice and helpful with helping me choose what I wanted done. She was able to do tips as well as dIp and a sugar dip to add some bling! I would recommend her to anyone and I will be going back to her when I need a fill in the next couple weeks. read more

definitely gone down hill. been coming here since they opened. they hand you the color books and don't half the colors they are showing, the ones they have are bland or glittery. the chairs are broken cannot operate the massage or even move the chair. sit there uncomfortably. ask for an enhanced service and get bare minimum extra but you are definitely charged for it . they recently switched there tip service to be cash only and will remind you several times during the service. polish is clumped on toes and not blended well on fingers. or they get polish and glue all over the rest of your fingers and hands. when you ask that they clean it up or focus on the cuticles or rough feet they act bothered and rush through everything. definitely doesn't feel like an upscale spa service. read more

I never write a review, however after my experience I thought I should warn others. I called prior to arriving to ask if there were any available appointments, I was told "yes at 2 pm". When I arrived, I checked in and waited 40 minutes until my appointment began. My nails were then stopped multiple times so the woman doing my nails could go do other people's nails. I simply wanted a fill on my acrylic nails and a new color. I was cut twice by the filing head and bleeding, although she did not say anything to me. I asked if my nail could be squared a bit more and she cut the majority of my nail off without asking how short. Furthermore, there are air bubbles in my nails and the polish is chipping off of ACRYLIC nails (which we finished four hours ago and I have not done anything eventful)... I didn't even know that was possible. Don't go, you may have my experience. read more

I went to Q Nails yesterday and was so disappointed... I only got a normal pedicure and manicure (no acrylics or dips). The girl doing the service could not speak ANY English. She did not clean all blue nail polish off my toes and painted over them. I tried to address this and she didn't understand even when I showed her. She missed painting them in places so you could see the blue on sides and top. The polish had to be thinned out twice to apply to fingernails, even that didn't help. My nails looked worse then when I did them myself. I had to show her missed places and she didn't understand that either but proceeded to apply the nail polish haphazardly anyway. I am very disappointed but I was told their quality of work was not good. I DO NOT recommend them at all. I wish I could get a refund of the $65 I spent but I was so upset I walked out. I am particular yes, but this was substandard...I'm surprised she passed the licensing test. read more

I was giving a certificate for a free dip at their grand opening. I was never told that it expired in 3 months nor does it say it on the certificate. All it says is that you must make a review once service is received and you have to make an appt to receive the service. I saved it for when I was ready to try SNS dip powder as it is not my normal. I contacted them to set the appt up and was informed that my certificate with no expiration had expired. Then was told that since I spend so much money in there why didn't I bring up the certificate before today. Well one because I usually go when I have time and can't make an appt and two because I had not tried dipping before and wanted to try it. So since I tried to follow the rules and make an appointment with my certificate without an expiration date when I was ready to try a new service I am getting no service and they are no longer receiving my business. My business which includes my nieces nails, my daughters, mine and my friends who I treat from time to time. Now do I think this will impact their business no. What it will do is inform those others who win certificates or coupons from them that those "coupons" etc have an imaginary expiration date of 3 months so if your a busy mom of 5 who works swing shifts you better make that appt or you lose out on what you won. Poor customer service from whoever was behind the keyboard on their FB page as well. Head over to Walmart I've seen better customer from that place than you today. read more
