Make your own bagel with gluten-free bread, carrot, apple, parsley and their delicious pumpkin seed spread

I love this place! When I'm in Berlin I eat here multiple times a month. Sometimes 4 times a week haha because for the quality and size of the meals the price is great and saves cooking time. The staff is always extra friendly no matter how busy they get, and even when busy the energy remains calm. Very healthy yet delicious vegan food with gluten-free options. Clean, quick and comfortable.

I have been to Pêle Mêle twice in the last week, so time for my review. I was absolutely delighted to find a fully vegan café with lots of GF options close to my friends place . First time I just was planning just getting a coffee and maybe a small little something to get the sugar level up and keep me going till dinner. However this tempting looking chocolate black forest cake had different plans with me....I literality had no say and will power if a gf/vegan/ cake is screaming for me no chance. So I indulged this cake combined with a soy latte which was a match made in heaven. The other day I brought my mum over as I wanted to have her try those spelt cake I spotted the last time, not for me fully GF but my mum is wheat free so lucky her. She went for a chocolate marble cake and a coffee. I tried to be good this time and went for the pumpkin ginger soup and a fresh orange juice both matched perfectly and of course I needed a little desert and just randomly the gf buckwheat chocolate cake just got my attention again, oh well life is too short not to have cake. So if you look for vegan and gf option in the Neukölln area defo check them out,

An exceptional experience…read more While visiting Berlin we decided to give Secret Garden a try. This restaurant is located on the second floor of a Veganz store. Secret Garden offers an exceptional experience since the moment you walk in. The environment is quite unique, the decorations make you feel in a new place, and the environment is perfect for a date, a meal, and a chat with friends. And even though non of the dishes by themselves were outstanding, the combination of dishes made for a great experience. We tried the tofu sticks, dumplings, onigiris and several sushi rolls; I especially liked the non-"roll" dishes. All in all, if you are looking for a unique experience in Berlin, Secret Garden is a great alternative. My Criteria 5 stars: The best food I have ever had, or an excellent option given the price. 4 stars: Good food, a restaurant I look forward to trying again. 3 stars: Good food, a restaurant that I am indifferent to. 2 stars: Below average experience, will not go again. 1 stars: This restaurant should be closed.

I asked to be seated away from a table of people crying (it's OK to have a baby but you shouldn't make guests sit there). The guys that work here gave off a super macho sexist vibe. I do not recommend this place, there are better venues in Berlin. The food wasn't the worst though, but nothing to compare to stuff in California, and it's Europe.

Came here for brunch about a month ago when the bf and I were in Berlin on vacation. We decided to…read morecome here because of its high ratings on Yelp. We got in just before noon, and we were glad we did because the place got completely full soon after we got seated. The menus were a little confusing as we don't speak any German and the menus had some English pages mixed in with the German pages (the little footnotes were what really confused me, but then I realized that they were using them as markers for different types of allergens). However, it didn't seem that hard to figure out as most of the offerings for brunch offered either cold cuts, cheese, vegetarian spreads, etc. with pastries and such. I opted for their normal sized vegetarian offering (you can ask for a vegan one also) along with coffee and a 20 mL cup of red currant juice. The bf got an order of their scrambled eggs with bacon, along with a 40 mL cup of orange juice. The vegetarian offering I got was amazing. There were a few different slices of cheese, 2 different types of savory spreads (one yogurt based, and the other was some sort of curried spread), and a bunch of fresh fruits. We got a very generous sized basket of bread to share, and it was just a perfect and somewhat light meal. The bf's eggs were delicious, and our juices were fresh and tasy as well. We could easily see why this place was so popular with the locals. Would definitely come back here if I ever happened to find myself in Berlin again.

It was piled with vegetables and I love seeds. They ran out of fries for another dish, but they were substituted with salad, which is arguably better. The waitress was alone but she was really nice and explained everything and provided recommendations. She was attentive to the couple other tables who were also there. The service is great at this restaurant. The restroom is a one off but it is clean. There is a front area and back area with more seating. We sat in the front and looked out the large windows to the street.

I had the spinach soup and the curry dish and both of them were great portions and left me feeling damn delightful. Just 2 gripes, but not docking any stars for this because the food, ambience, and friendliness of service were all really good. Just want to make management aware: 1) They asked if I wanted the soup first, then the dish and I said "yes" but they brought both out at the same time, and 2) someone kept blasting the news and random hip-hop tunes on top of the chill, ambient music they had in the background, which kind of threw a ripple into the mood. All-in-all, a good experience and I would come back.
