My 82 year old mom quite frankly did not understand why the company installed a 3 zone system on a 4 zone irrigation sprinkler system already in the ground. Not surprisingly, an entire sprinkler zone was not working. The owner Jake returned the phone call and immediately started yelling, and screaming like an unhinged lunatic. Instead of trying to understand what information I was asking for he started screaming and using foul language. It was a rather frightening experience on the telephone, and Jake the owner seemed to lack any control over his anger. I've read some of the glowing recommendations from other people and it makes me wonder if maybe he's normal when everything goes his way but when confronted with potential problems who knows what this explosive guy is capable of.

The painter said to adjust the sprinklers so that they do not hit the house and discolor the paint (as they have). Spoke to Brent of Simply Sprinklers and explained what we needed for our 8,000 sq ft lot with 20 sprinklers, including a shrubbery zone: that they need to be adjusted to not hit the house, check to see if they need replacing or maintenance (it's been 8 years) and ensure the system times are correct. Brent said that is exactly what his $85 dollar tune-up does and he will identify any work that needs to be done. He and his associate spent about an hour on Friday, October 24th 2025 "looking" at my yard, then showed me a few flagged sprinkler heads. He said, a couple were clogged and two were too low to clear the grass. I said great! But, then his associate pulled the flags up so I would not be able to locate those sprinklers again. I had him wait (I have some old flags) until I put my own ($0.25 a piece) down. Why would they do that? Turned out it was a "cya" scam to cover any work they did or didn't do. Next day I replaced the clogged sprinkler, but noticed in that zone, that one sprinkler was hitting my house AND was only oscillating about 15 degrees instead of 180 degrees. Another oscillating sprinkler was broken (with the front part that holds a screw to reduce the distance missing so it was shooting about 20 feet out with nothing in between. Called Brent on the 26th and told him about the issues. Denied, denied, denied. He lectured me that those sprinklers only oscillate 90 or 180 degrees and it was rotating 180 degrees when they looked at it (12 hours earlier) and someone must have broken that other one in the same 12 hours since he checked because everything was working perfectly. Discussion ended after I suggested Simply Sprinklers had become complacent and if they saw any water spraying... it was okay. Today (31st) I checked the other zones & found more issues. Right side of the house has two sprinklers hitting it and two of the drip lines for my shrubs had no ends on them so water was just shooting out. Also, several sprinklers (not flagged) were too low and were not getting out past the grass but according to Brent, "But, it's wet back there so probably don't need to do anything." Unbelievable!!! I've adjusted, raised and replaced sprinklers as necessary so my system is once again working correctly. Simply Sprinkler's lack of professionalism and competence, and Brent's (IMHO) dishonesty and entitled attitude has prompted me to write this review. Hopefully, no one else will throw money away on this pretentious company that is incapable of the simplest job. They will take your money and run. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR SPRINKLER SYSTEM!!!

The first project was to remove destructive trees and plants and their root balls away from the pool to prevent damage to the concrete and so that a cage could be built. I was kept informed of scheduling and timing, especially when the weather pushed things back a bit. The crew came with a great attitude, despite the heat, and removed the trees and plants, and transplanted some of them to increase my privacy screen. This company 'Sprinkler Problems & Well Problems' was highly recommended. I called and they came right out. Harvey Bonin, the owner examined every sprinkler head, unearthed several, replaced many more, adjusted the flow and direction of others, and even replaced one under a sidewalk that had broken. He recommended a new timer and was able to install it the next morning. He was professional, focused, knowledgeable, prompt and fair. I would recommend him to all my friends and family.
