We called and were met at the gate by Jeff and Joey. These guys are the best. They are honest, down to earth guys, and very friendly. Also, if you need anything, you can call them anytime after hours. This RV park is awesome. It is very well lighted, clean and well kept. It is gated, so you can have a peaceful night's sleep. Laundry rooms are in excellent condition. Also, has a great swimming pool. oh the rates are the best you will find. I can't say enough about this RV Park, or Jeff and Joey. I highly recommend if you are in the area of Monahans, Texas this is the RV Park you need to call! I know we will definitely come here when we are traveling through!

Paula and James who manage the park are extremely friendly and helpful, by far the most friendly staff of any RV Park we've ever been to. The park is quiet and peaceful all day and at night. You also do not have to download a "stupid app" to pay your rent as another reviewer has claimed. You can go to the office and pay as you usually would OR you can use the app. The choice is yours. For the price and quality of customer service, I'm giving this park a 5 out of 5!

It doesn't have a lot of amenities but what it lacks it truly makes up for in customer service & charm. The owner (I forgot her name) was extremely friendly offering assistance & use of whatever we needed to help us address our issues. We had the campground to ourselves & completely enjoyed the quiet. We experienced a beautiful thunderstorm during our stay & was impressed with the lack of flooding/sinking that the gravel parking area did not have. The price was perfect for overnight stays. Thank you Honey Badger for an excellent overnight stay.

There are two dog parks that get busy during the evening and one of them is always muddy and practically unusable but it has a nice dog wash station that is free to use. There is also usually a lot of dog waste that doesn't get picked up. The gym is small but has a good set of dumbbells and a few pieces of equipment that allow for effective workouts, however one of the treadmills has been out of service for over a month. There are showers and a pool available but I have not used them. The public bathrooms have been clean the couple times I've used them. A lot of the washers and dryers are consistently broken and out of service as well but the areas are always tidy. The main entry gate has also been broken for over a month and just sits open at all times of the day for anyone to enter. The water has been shut off a couple times with no notice from staff and we've had some issues with neighboring campers hosting loud parties into the early morning on week nights. The park is mostly clean, minus the few stray beer cans on occasion. There are plenty of dumpsters and they are emptied every day or every other day. Have never had any issues with them being full or overflowing. The staff has been mostly friendly and overall it's not the worst RV park I've stayed in.

Fun time at this park…read more Enroute from San Antonio to El Paso, we were able to stop at this park to get the kids out of the car and into some refreshing spring water It was clean, not crowded and left us already planning a return on our next trip back or towards Big Bend National. There are cabins on the ground, picnic tables, barbecue pits. I saw a basketball court. They had a few nature areas to enjoy. I was certainly pleased with just getting my feet wet, but the water is clear and if you were interested in seeing more below the water, I recommend goggles or snorkeling gear. I hear companies teach scuba here too. There's not much else near the park, so bring all the amenities you need or want there. Good times with nature. We will return.

Out on the frontier removed from the frustrations of civilization sits Balmorhea an artesian gem…read morehiding among the tumbleweeds. The springs themselves are astonishing. Crystalline water, a natural oasis. Wilderness as a touch of elegance. The water is cool, refreshing, and large enough you can swim without bumping into a flotilla of inflatable flamingos every ten seconds. It is serene. Now, the true pièce de résistance: tiny fish. Yes darling, little cousins of piranhas nibbling delicately at your skin. At first, it's mildly horrifying. Being lightly snacked upon by aquatic creatures isn't typically on the itinerary. It's nature's exfoliation service. Truly. These miniature aestheticians gather around and provide the most delightful, ticklish skin treatment imaginable. Think of it as a rustic version of spa fish pedicures, except this one is completely natural, wildly entertaining, and performed by creatures that actually live in the ecosystem instead of a questionable salon tank. The entire place has this fascinating ecological charm that sneaks up on you. You're floating in a massive spring-fed pool, mountains in the distance, dragonflies skimming the water, and tiny fish politely tend to your skincare needs. The magic of Balmorhea (I'll let you figure out how to pronounce it correctly) is that it's a living ecosystem, and being able to swim in the middle of it is special. It's frontier chic. Don't expect marble spas and cucumber water. Following an afternoon, my skin felt absurdly smooth, stress level plummeted, and it was imperative to recommend the remote desert destination without qualification. Five stars for the fish running the spa.

There was trash all over by the dumpsters, no one working there bothered to pick it up. It's just a large parking lot and nothing to it! It looks like most of the people had their RVs parked there and were empty or were just people that worked in the area. If your just going to use it as a rest stop for the night then it's fine. Don't except much. One more thing, the manager should really learn how to use a mask properly especially because you have to go into the office to sign paper work.
