I have a 14 yr old daughter who's dream is to be on broadway. She loves singing but her passion is much bigger than her voice. I believe passion is something that should be nurtured so I spent thousands of dollars on voice lessons over the past 3 years. Emily worked hard. After about a year and a half of lessons, though, with a different New York based vocal school, she seemed to plateau. She still practiced all the time and loved it but eventually started to get frustrated. Finally she was passed over for any main singing roles in her school play, and it was the last straw for her. She came home and said she was giving up singing. And she was serious. This broke my heart. Not because I want her to be a famous singer, but because I know how much she really does love singing and her spirit was broken. Shortly thereafter I was speaking to a friend at work about our kids and he recommended I have Emily take a trial lesson with his daughters teacher, Irina Fields. I made the call and I am so happy I did! First of all Irina comes with "cred". She is cool and hip and pretty as well as being an accomplished artist. Emily loved her instantly. She has the patience of a saint and has the same passion for singing that I see in Emily. While studying with Irina, My daughter has become very knowledgeable about the intricacies of this technique called "Bel canto". She does drills every day and not just singing drills. I see her laying on the floor practicing breathing and she describes in detail the science behind singing with this bel canto technique. She is full of passion again and it's awesome. It's been about 9 months now since Emily started lessons with Irina and the results have been nothing short of amazing. I can clearly hear a dramatic difference in Emily's voice and more important, in her confidence and happiness. Thank you Irina! (Voice whisperer!)

She has an encouraging and informative, grounding presence and in just a few lessons of Bel Canto I feel as though I can go step by step to ease my fear of singing in front of others. She taught me proper breath support using my diaphragm. These techniques helped to make my voice sound bigger and clear even though I was nervous. I have been a…read morebroadway actor for 8 years, most recently in Beetlejuice the Musical, and I FINALLY found a brilliant vocal coach, music director, arranger and accompanist. But Scott offers so much more! Due to the pandemic everything has gone virtual and because of Pearson Studios I was able to pivot during the pandemic. Scott also has a state of the art recording studio and is a fabulous sound engineer and videographer. I now have a commercial voice-over demo (which landed me a commercial agent and a few v/o gigs), and also very professional self-tapes for my theatre and tv/film auditions. Not only does he offer his accompaniment and coaching skills, but he uses a professional microphone and protools, and a very fancy camera and back drop which totally ups my game! He also offers excellent acting coaching as well as acts as my reader. He is a one stop shop! Once I went to Pearson studios all my stress was taken away. They literally just threw my…read morechildren 4 & 5 out of the school in the middle of a pandemic with no notice or time to change their daycare setting. If you are looking for daycare, the daycare teachers are amazing as they have raised my kids for 3 years. But if you are going to be doing virtual learning----don't waste your time. The director has no compassion or room for criticism. I got complaints from the PUBLIC SCHOOL of roselle which I shared with her in hopes of improvement since we have had a long relationship together of 3 years-----but she chose to blame my daughter who is 5 stating she had to figure out the schooling on her on and they are only there to make sure she sits at the computer. She refused to provide additional wifi in the school during virtual learning so all the kids cant even get their work done. She was heartless and rather than attempting to fix the problem kept blaming my 5 year old and literally called me and said----today is your last day. I don't want them in my school. unprofessional. lack of a heart. should not be running a business for kids. OHHHHHH---AND SHE HAS FIGHTS WITH HER TEACHERS YELLING AT THEM AND BELITTLING THEM IN FRONT OF DAY CARE CHILDREN. LETS NOT FORGET THAT.

I had to average it out to a 3 star rating based on my experience for a concert I was attending...Modern Talking 2024. The Good - I got 4th row seats from the stage and I loved how up close and personal it felt. The plush seats are comfortable with plenty of leg room. The air conditioning was set at the perfect temp. The acoustics came through. The entire theatre is extremely well maintained given how old it is. The Bad - Never have I ever encountered such rude concert goers before in all my years. Many of the people would stand in the aisles dancing/drinking, taking photos or videotaping. The security guards would constantly come and usher them back to their seats. This was done over again and again. I was beyond annoyed. Some were drunk AF and would even stumbled around. I had my defense mode on in case they land on me. The security crew had their work cut out for them. But towards the last 40 minutes of the show, they gave up. At this point, I couldn't see anything without tip-toeing. For all those 1-2 star reviews complaining about how rude the security crew were. You guys must be the ones occupying the aisles. I'm guessing this happens a lot at this theatre. For that reason, I won't be attending any more future shows. Note: even though there is only one restroom for women which is located on the 2nd floor, there are plenty of stalls.
