Chris was our guide, we had four in the boat - all fairly new to fly fishing. Chris was very good in detailing technique and showing us tricks to fish for trout. We started in the lake then down river to a bar to wade and fish for trout and sockeye. The wind was not cooperative, it rained most of the trip, and the temps were on the chilly side. I would definitely use them again. Chris found plenty of fish and checked in regularly with the shop for reports. Great fun to fish with knowledgable talent like Chris :-)

The stamp instructed us to one boat and it was challenged by that capt...so we were basically turned away. Kobe made a call and clarified that someone must have stamped our receipt incorrectly. Fine, we will head out with this friendly chap. My brother was awfully seasick 95% of the time spent on the water...about 8.5 hrs. Kobe was determined to make it a great experience for everyone. Our first stop we pulled so many rock fish, we had to return some bcuz we met our limit. Second stop was a goldmine. Im so glad Capt Kobe was determined to find halibut. We found our limit! When we came in we had a massive haul, thx to Kobe. He was friendly, professional, and fun to get to know. We wish him and his family the very best!! Located right on the road to the icefield, so it's wasn't even out of our way to stop by - and nice when we were exhausted to not have to make an extra detour. Overall, great rental experience. Definitely recommend.
