Chris was our guide, we had four in the boat - all fairly new to fly fishing. Chris was very good in detailing technique and showing us tricks to fish for trout. We started in the lake then down river to a bar to wade and fish for trout and sockeye. The wind was not cooperative, it rained most of the trip, and the temps were on the chilly side. I would definitely use them again. Chris found plenty of fish and checked in regularly with the shop for reports. Great fun to fish with knowledgable talent like Chris :-)

We visited Seward in late July and had the trip of a lifetime! We were fortunate enough to have Rob…read morefrom Adventure 60 North as our guide for two incredible adventures. Our first tour was a kayak trip on Resurrection Bay. Rob had all of our gear prepared and ready to go, and even though it was rainy, the provided rain gear kept us warm and dry. We stopped for lunch and took a short hike to a beautiful waterfall. One of the women on our tour had some mobility challenges, and I was especially impressed watching Rob hike backward while holding her hands and making sure she felt safe and supported. Throughout the trip, he pointed out landmarks and wildlife and shared so much interesting information. He was knowledgeable, funny, patient, and incredibly attentive. Later that day, Rob guided us on a hike of Exit Glacier. His knowledge of the glacier and Kenai Fjords National Park was amazing. Along the way, we learned about the plant life, geology, and geography of this breathtaking landscape. I feel incredibly lucky that we had Rob as our guide. There is no doubt that we would have missed so much if we had explored these places on our own. He made both experiences unforgettable! Thank you, Adventure 60 North, and especially Rob, for helping make our Alaska adventure so special!
