Both of them were really easy to talk to, knowledgeable in their own expertise, they had some awesome ideas and gave a lot of context to what was possible and impossible. Definitely recommend you meet up with them for a free consultation if you're considering any type of home renovation big or small. Note: I'll update this review should I end up working with them.

Their prices were the best we found around town. The installers, RJ and Brandon, were beyond excellent!!! They were so respectful and very hard workers. They installed carpet in our living room, large master bedroom and spare bedroom - I was super impressed with them and even called the store back and told them those young men deserve a raise! I was told they get lots of compliments and that they are their best team of installers.

Not soon after work was done all our woodwork was peeling when bumped into. We waited till now to have it all stripped primed and repainted. They did not prep the surface first. We were told they would complete one room at a time so we could unpack. That did not happen. The owner did not check up on the work regularly. We were in a hurry and were very disappointed. Ax promised a lot and delivered much less.

The estimate explained everything, step by step including how many pounds of flakes would be put down on the floor. They prepared the floor and filled in all the cracks. They explained how they are able to offer a lifetime warranty because of the thorough prep work. They arrived on time and immediately began to work. I could not be happier. I had given them an estimate of the square footage of my garage because I was out of town and my daughter didn't have a tape measure so I asked her to "walk it" and will estimate on the high end so there won't be a problem. The cherry on top is that after they finished all the work and cleaned the work area, they informed me I over estimated the square footage by over 100sq ft... They then informed me the revised the estimate to make it $500 less.. Start to Finish this project was handled with the utmost professionalism and their honesty is something that is truly unheard of, in this day and age! To say I recommend them is a severe understatement!

In July of 2023, we had our separate 1-car and 2-car garage floors finished by Tru Grit. The end…read moreproduct looked fairly good as long as you didn't look too closely. Some repairs after the initial installation were required which gives the floor an uneven look in some places. After the installation, the solvent smell in the 1-car garage never subsided making it impossible to be in that garage for any length of time. The 2-car garage did not have this problem. Tru Grit came back and added another topcoat in an attempt to eliminate the smell but that only helped slightly. After 3 weeks, the 1-car garage still had a fairly strong solvent smell. After 3 or 4 months, the smell did finally go away. The installation crew was sloppy. During the installation they marred the baseboards with their equipment which required touch-up painting in many places. They slopped the base coat on some of the shrubbery and ground cover. They dumped some sort of liquid in the grass in two different places which killed it, and they got some topcoat on the grass in a third place which also killed it. I had the curbing installed around the perimeter of both garages and they didn't do any preparation of those surfaces, covering blobs of left over sheetrock compound and caulk instead of first removing them. I also had them apply the basecoat to the threshold of the front door and they slopped it onto the door trim requiring significant touch-up painting. Tru Grit did offer to take care of correcting these items. Three years later, the floor looks pretty much like it did in the weeks after installation with one exception - The portion of the floor that is outside the garage overhead doors has yellowed quite noticeably. I noticed on their website in the Q&A portion that they don't actually answer the question as to how resistant the coatings are to UV exposure. The coating is still in place, but I am here to tell you, it DOES yellow over time.
